“A beautiful little studio in the round. Very well organised with live band and super tech. Sunset Boulevard was so well performed”
“Lovely old building, not too big to see a show. The only thing I would say is its a shame that it's not tiered seating but obviously that can't be helped. There is a small balcony which goes three quarters around the auditorium, but I think it's only about two seats deep. The ceiling is a high dome. There is a nice little cafe and bar there. Inside the auditorium there is a little kiosk that serves drinks, sweets ice creams and teas and coffees and during the interval. Sensible prices in kiosk too ( the bar wasn't especially cheap though) . Can be a little chilly at first, but warms up. Lovely friendly staff. Positioned right opposite the beach. Parking available on streets and car parks near by. If you get a chance go to Beales chip shop. You can eat in or out. Fantastic fish and fruity curry sauce. ( It s near the large car park for the fun fair).”
“A book lover's paradise. Great curation of books, not just the bestsellers. The staff recommendations are always spot-on. I love losing track of time in here. Charming and cosy with a great community feel.”
“Booked a dinosaur themed party for my 3 yr old and 2 yr old joint party. All the children had a fantastic time. Face painting, bubbles, dancing, dinosaur adventure (which the kids particularly loved) puppet show and Mickey Mouse even came to surprise the children. Will be booking again!! Fantastic”

“Great open space for kids to run around, also for dog walking and lots of bins for those dog bags, also a park with sand and ramps for the older kids, big pond with ducks, geese and swans and sandy water park just over the bridge.”
“Excellent performance by a small touring company. Small independently run venue.”

“Brave Arts Theatre Company is so much more than a theatre group – it’s a family. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with warmth, kindness, and a true sense of belonging. It’s a place where everyone feels safe to be themselves, where differences are celebrated, and where you’re constantly reminded that you matter. The productions are absolutely breathtaking, but the real magic happens behind the scenes. Stacey, the heart and soul of Brave Arts, is nothing short of extraordinary. She doesn’t just teach or direct – she nurtures, inspires, and believes in every single person who steps into her world. Stacey goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone, no matter their path, feels supported and empowered, both on stage and in life. Brave Arts is a place that pushes you gently out of your comfort zone, helping you grow in ways you never thought possible. For me, it’s not just a theatre company – it’s home. It’s my happy place, and I’ll always be grateful for the love, laughter, and unforgettable memories I’ve found here. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a theatre company filled with love and light”
