“Honestly it is no wonder why they have won the best wedding venue in South & Central Wales for three consecutive years. From reserving the date, to the day of the wedding (and the morning after!) they have been nothing short of professional, friendly, and exceptional. They have been flexible when our timings or food choices changed. From reception, to the wedding team, and the bar staff and everyone else at the King Arthur have been nothing short of perfection. Our wedding day flowed so seamlessly and smoothly it was like something out of a fairytale. Our wedding co-ordinator Annelise has been amazing throughout, and we were well looked after in her capable hands on the day, whether it be an extra drink for us or a moments peace away from the beautiful chaos. Nicola looked after us in the evening and was amazing, and a seamless transition. Justin the DJ was great and had the dance floor bouncing! The food for our wedding was exceptional, and highly recommended by ourselves and our guests. The venue is just stunning, and a treat to have our wedding there. We have eaten at the King Arthur many times before and have never been disappointed at the quality of the food. It was so nice to receive so many compliments about our wedding from so many different aspects of it, from the food, to the staff, to the venue and much more. If you want the wedding of your dreams, look no further than having it at the King Arthur hotel. “We have been coming here for about 2 years. The coffee is super tasty and amazing quality and I cannot describe how delicious the pork cobano is. The amount of meat you get in the sandwich is super generous. The other food also looks insane but we love the pork cobano and have to order it each time. Lovely staff here also, just a great place to eat and drink.”

“What an amazing place and the food is proper chef prepaired not microwave ding like a lot of places. The depth of flavour and qaulity of the food was amazing, the staff are all very friendly and the waitress even helped us find some tradesmen ad we are new to the area. Service was amazing she was so chatty and welcoming and had a great knowledge of the dishes on the menu,will definately be back, no wonder they stack up the awards. The zoo at the rear is also a nice touch”

“The Pilot Pub in Mumbles, although quite small, was very welcoming. The bar staff were really friendly. They’ve got a good selection of different craft beers and the atmosphere was great. It was my first time visiting, but I felt very welcome. Thank you.”

“Lovely place to stay. Very friendly and great rooms. Thought of everything you might need for a great stay. Iron and ironing board outside rooms, water dispenser and extra tea,coffee etc outside the rooms. Even spare toilet roll outside the rooms. My room had a fridge and microwave and even a leather sofa to lounge on. Plenty of space to relax outside with a drink. Lovely breakfast in the dining room which is beautifully set out with tablecloths and all matching crockery. Have stayed her a few times. Can very highly recommend.”

“We went at a quiet time but the view out the front window was awesome. Lovely place with great food and really nice staff. Nice tapas style Asian foods, beautiful presentation and super tasty.”

“Beautiful place with a cozy ambiance. Food was delicious! We ordered the 40 day dry aged sirloin steak with garlic, shallot and herb sauce and a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The herb sauce was unbelievable ❤️ Just wish the portion sizes of steak were a tad big bigger as the price is on the higher end. An honourable mention to the wonderful staff who were very friendly and mindful of my food allergies. Do recommend reserving in advance. Highly recommend this place for any special occasions or just to treat oneself. Will definitely be back here! ❤️”

“I’m vegetarian and work away often and mostly dine alone. Des Swag is a very welcoming restaurant, it’s serves a mix of Vegetarian, Vegan and Meat dishes. The owner is happy to advise on the dishes they serve and just as happy to leave you to it. It’s feels very traditional with a warm welcoming atmosphere. It’s the second time I’ve visited here, this time I had Mixed Pakoda for starters with Punjabi Choley, Nan and Basmati rice as a my main. Definitely recommend this place, it’s often quiet but I know it gets busy at weekends.”

“Absolutely love this place. Been waiting to try it for ages as it’s often fully booked. Food was top notch and service very helpful. Will definitely go again to try some of the other items on the menu. I can recommend the Brian Griffin Burger and the Hey You Guys Fries. Not to mention the Millionaire Shortbread milkshake. Other half had a pint of Electric Boogaloo IPA which helped cut through the food. Ordering at the table with QR code was relatively simple and good if you are a regular. Not having been before meant we needed some assistance with our options, but that was quickly forthcoming. Food came out like lightning too and hardly any wait although we were the first ones in that evening. Also the food was hot, not lukewarm which I really liked. Careful if you are on a low sodium diet though. Maybe worth bringing this up with the chef before ordering. Outstanding Food and good music. Can’t wait for them to open in Swansea.”

“Went for the first time last weekend as we've started visiting 'new' spots. Thay that serve breakfast and are dog friendly. After a friend had recommended it. Didn't look promising from outside, but we were wrong very much so. After a 6 x full breakfasts with various personal preferences. Extra sausages ordered for the dogs everyone left full and satisfied. Will definitely be back.”
