“An absolutely splendid service and delicious, great quality food. Chose of the menu rather than the carvery, then people were walking past and I was beginning to think I may regret foing for a prawn starter, absolutely mouth watering, satisfyingly...... spot on. The main, mixed grill, wow. Piping hot, everything, cooked to perfection I swear Gotdon has some competition!.. Highly recommended for a truly exquisite meal. Thank you to all the staff. I did not expect the quality of food I was served. X”
“Food is delicious. Service is fast. Everything’s fairly priced. The new pool table is so much fun. And the new owners are lovely, couldn’t ask for better staff”
“Just ordered the salt and pepper box perfect for 2 people . Great value for money and even came with free prawn crackers . Was so tasty ,could really enjoy each flavour as the salt and pepper wasn't too over powering like some places . Definitely will use again”
“I honestly can’t say enough good things about this restaurant – everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, genuine hospitality that made me feel welcome right away. The atmosphere was inviting, with just the right balance of elegance and comfort. The food was truly outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor – you could tell a lot of care and passion went into the cooking. From the starters to the mains and even the desserts, each bite was a highlight. Everything was cooked to perfection, fresh, and seasoned just right. The service was flawless as well. The staff were attentive without ever being intrusive, making sure everything arrived on time and checking in at just the right moments. They were knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent recommendations. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience. It’s rare to find a place that nails it on every level – food, service, and atmosphere – but this restaurant absolutely did. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know.”
“First time going to Debs Cafe and I must say I'm impressed. I ordered a sausage bacon & egg sandwich and a B.e.s.t for a work colleague and they were delicious bread was lovely and fresh and they even put a serviette in with them. Service was great, staff really friendly and I will definitely be going back”
“This fantastic pub and it's great punters is an absolute must for anyone who loves a real ale. You will not be disappointed. Advise you get there at opening time.”
“Lovely cafe with great staff and fabulous food. Went for breakfast, had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, absolutely yummy! Well worth a visit.”
“My wife and I made our first visit to 'The Stump' ( Mount Pleasant) since the 1980's . After a recommendation on Facebook we decided to call in for a late night drink after playing Bridge. The Mount Pleasant is open until 23:00 and serves until 22:45 . We had checked on the Real Ale Finder site that the Mount Pleasant regularly updates and found that they had an interesting Abbeydale Hazelnut and Coffee Stout on. They regularly change 9 of the real ales that they have on offer and a chalk board lists the beers and prices . The Mount Pleasant has a long ( thin) layout with a car park ( also long and thin on its right hand side ) . We accessed the pub via a rear door from the car park . A covered smoking deck is at the back then the single door access ( with a single step) leafs into a corridor that runs the length of the pub with single doorways to enter the front and rear bar rooms . The pub was warm and friendly with a group of people at another table enjoying snack type food . We had a half of the Abbeydale Stout and were pleasantly surprised by the price of only £3.90 for a pint of this 5.2% strength Stout. We enjoyed it so much we squeezed in another half before closing time . The service was friendly and when I mentioned that the last time we visited the Mount Pleasant was in the 1980's the landlady jokingly replied that she was not even born then. It is not surprising that The Mount Pleasant is in the 2025 Camra Good Beer Guide . We both enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend The Stump as a 'must visit ' if you are in the area .”
“Drove all the way from Birmingham to try their famous Milk Badam and Rabri Falooda, and must say it was worth the trip. The milk was on point and falooda, while a bit on the sweeter side for me was very nice and authentic in taste. What topped it all was the great service and the uncle at the counter gave us their Punjabi gajarhalwa to try and it was amazing, proper home cooked taste. I would come back just for this!”
“The food at Tapri is fabulously flavoursome! I’ve been to many curry restaurants, but none have the depth of flavour and perfect blend of spices that Tapri does. The staff always give us such a warm welcome and really take care of us every time we visit. If you haven’t been yet and you’re craving a tasty feast, you must try it. I honestly can’t recommend it enough!”
“Excellent Place to have a talk without spending too much. Prices are too good. Overall, experience was fabulous. Must visit place.”
“I often call in for a brunch and a cup of tea on a Saturday and really love the atmosphere and feel of the place- it’s so cosy and cute. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I knew they did afternoon tea and ordered some to take away for a baby shower. It was amazing! You had so much food for the price and it all tasted absolutely fantastic. Everyone at the shower said the same. Will be booking afternoon tea again for sure!”
“Had afternoon tea for 5 people today. A mixture of normal afternoon teas, savoury teas and one gluten free tea. All were delicious with lovely sandwiches and cakes freshly made by Kirsty one of the owners. And starting at £18 for the normal afternoon tea it was excellent value. A lot of effort went into making the gluten free tea and this one didn't disappoint as they have done at other venues. The service was excellent, attentive and very friendly. We will definately be going back for another afternoon tea and to sample other meals on the menu. I would definately recommend this quirky and comfortable little cafe to anyone.”
“Went to buy some garden furniture for our son and his girlfriend and the staff were really helpful and helped us to pick the right thing for them. We ended up buying extra things while we were there as well and will definitely be going again to get more things. Much bigger shop than the Kingswinford branch, so more to see. They regularly change items in the shop as well. Be aware, some items are one offs, so you'd need to decide to buy it there and then. My wife went in and a couple of days later a lot of the things she had seen had been sold, which would be an issue if you really loved an item.”
“Brilliant little pub with such a warm welcome. The staff are very friendly, quick and attentive. The beer is always good, with a good choice of Holdens and they have a cool little Gin section too. Regular live music always makes for a lovely atmosphere.”
“Mid week lunch for two with a two for one offer. Service was good with more than acceptable waiting time. Standard of food was excellent and freshly cooked to order. Would recommend.”
“I feel so lucky that Cafe Casita is a 5 minute walk from where I live, this is the second time I have visited this place with my wife since moving to the area and it is amazing. I believe it is a family owned Italian restaurant with a rustic Italian theme inside. You need to book as it is always busy, and rightly so, the food is absolutely amazing, tasty and is presented beautifully. Listen to the mature lady if she suggests a dish as my wife had the scallops that she suggested and I was left wishing I had the same. The outside of the restaurant could do with a slight uplift but when inside that really doesn't matter.”
“Always so friendly to the children in here, my kids love to go and have a meal in Limes. Nice atmosphere, and good that you can take your own bottle of wine in too. Been in many timed over recent months, last for my sons 12th birthday. Especially love the lime pot x”
“Great pub, we had a coach load stop here this weekend, was made very welcome by all the staff and regulars. Would highly recommend it !!”
“I ate schezuan chicken and noodles at China cooking restaurant and I loved it so much, it's my 4th time here. The chef is amazing and friendly and the food taste perfectly nice to the point where I can't stop thinking about when next I am going to be visiting again just to have the schezuan chicken especially.”
“I recently ordered from this bengal flame and was genuinely impressed. The food arrived hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The food was absolutely delicious. The delivery was quick and on time, and the driver was polite and friendly. Portions were generous, and everything was well-packaged to avoid spills. Overall, a great experience—delicious food, prompt service, and solid value for money. Definitely ordering again soon!”
“Great Service! Great Food! What more could you want!”
“I had a wonderful vegetarian Indian afternoon tea at Uday’s on Dudley Road in Wolverhampton. The decor is classy and modern, with a peaceful ambiance and a beautiful glass waterfall feature that really sets the tone. The afternoon tea was a great mix of Indian street food and classic bites – pav bhaji, veg fingers with chips, samosa, papdi chaat, gol guppe, sandwiches, macarons, gulab jamun, and chilli soya. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and well-presented. The masala chai was a standout – rich, warm, and perfectly spiced. The service was excellent – the whole team was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A special thanks to Binesh, who made sure everything ran smoothly. A lovely experience all around – I’d definitely recommend it!”
“First time we went today. A friend & me took our mom's for afternoon lunch. Food was excellent & all cooked to order, very good value for money. Staff were lovely. We're planning a return visit in the next few weeks.”

“First time ordering, beautiful food! been looking for a new chinese, will definitely order again, crispy beef was BEAUTIFUL !!!”
“Great pub with delicious food. I was there for the second time and I was still nicely surprised with the taste of meals. Portions are big, the food is freshly made and is nicely decorated on the plates . The staff are friendly and the pub is clean and tidy. Summerhouse has plenty of car park spaces and also the garden with the tables and sits outside. Behind the garden area there are meadows with wild flowers and free roaming horses. I highly recommend this pub. It's a shame for me that this pub is not close to Coventry where I live.”
“Best Chinese I’ve ever had ❤️ and such a lovely lady made sure the order it’s right highly recommended”
“Emma's Humbugs. The staff have become our friend's. Cakes yummy. Loads of chat and laughter.”
