“Amazing roast dinner. I had the lamb which I asked for pink and it was spot on. The vegetables especially the cauliflower cheese was excellent. The roast potatoes and parsnips were cooked lovely. The atmosphere is good. All in all a great place for Sunday lunch (or other meals).”

“What an incredible find! Shifnal is housing a fabulous little restaurant immaculate interior with wooden beams and Harry Potter under stairs toilet it’s quirky! From steamed table cloths lovely cutlery crockery and glassware it’s floorless! The food was incredible great flavours and really felt like the chef was taking time to create every dish. Nice wine and tasty passionfruit martinis. I think it’s our new favourite. Definitely an adults only escape for couples and small groups not for loud people!”

“Lovely little restaurant just out of the heart of the City so it's centrally located but not in a busy area. Lovely ambience, cosy, comfortable. Good staff, friendly, helpful, great service. Small but varied menu has something for everyone. The simple 2 course or 3 course menu option is excellent value for money. The food is excellent - portion sizes are just right to be able to enjoy all the courses and some nice touches like an accompanying sherry are well thought out. After 5 years in the Lichfield/Tamworth area it's the best restaurant we've found.”

Warm and comfortable even sitting near the main entrance. It's definitely an old time pub and although it's been through various changes since I first drank in there it remains an old time pub. “This was my first experience of dining in a restaurant, under the 'Eat Out to Help Out Scheme' introduced by the government. It was only possible to reserve a table for lunchtime on Tuesday 18th - evenings were fully booked out. There was outdoor seating which was decently spaced out. I ordered the Pad Thai (main) with Tofu and a starter of Spring Rolls (vegetable), all served on the same plate. A Chang-style lager went well with it. I think this is the best Thai Meal I have tasted for a while; the restaurant is worth another visit and I will try out the other meals :)”

“Place has improved ALOT since the last time we ordered. My Chicken balls and chips were more crispy and fresh, unlike last time where it was soggy and wet. My sweet and sour sauce was good as usual, and the chicken noodle soup was excellent! Will be ordering again.”

“We have delivery service and its always bang on amazing the only Indian restaurant ill eat from the naan breads and chapattis are always nice and fresh and the poor delivery drivers come out no matter the weather please remember to tip them”
