“I have no idea why we have never been here before service was excellent all of the staff are lovely, prices are amazing and their chips are proper homemade chips none of that oven muck you find in all the other pubs. Absolutely fantastic and we will be back again to have a game of pool and to relax in the beer garden.”

“Authentic Thai food place! Cozy homy atmosphere and food are well seasoned. I really enjoy my time here. We were served by an elderly gentleman. He may not be very fluent english to explain the detailed ingredients in the dish but he was very polite and attentive. Overall, we will come back!”

“I've been waiting... impatiently, it seemed, for Zaffran to open, driving passed it daily whilst under going renovation and always looking for hints of the grand opening. Well the doors opened on 29th April 2019 and I had to work lates! Almost 1 week later my wife and I finally got to experience Zaffran's fine cuisine, friendly staff and cosy fresh atmosphere. It was a pleasure to see so much more on offer than the usual dishes and they were truly delicious. As with a lot of restaurants nowadays, it's worth remembering to bring your own alcoholic beverages, though they do sell a selection of soft drinks. Looking forward to frequenting Zaffran soon.”

The food is cooked in view of the seating area, so you know that everything is happening fresh and in front of your eyes. “Found the Builders arms online and the reviews seem good! We had a party of 4 to entertain for the weekend so this place seemed right. Great selection of Alcohol and the food was tasty. I thought the prices were decent and worth it for what we had. We were served by Angus, he was a friendly guy, made some good conversation while we checked out the menu and made the visit enjoyable. . Would definitely go back!”

The service was amazing and I really couldnt recommend it anymore. It was very quiet when we arrived but we did go quite early so I can imagine that around 7:30-8 it picks up and there is a busier atmosphere.”

“Visited Penn Tandoori for the first time for a friend’s birthday and really enjoyed the new thalis. Portions were small but there was plenty overall, and it was great value at £14.95. The staff gave a good explanation of everything and the service was excellent. They also have a bar. Would definitely return in the future.”
