βHad the Brunch Bagel for brunch on Wednesday 10th April, and can honestly say it tasted better than anything I have eaten for a very long time. Fantastic service as always, and a bunch of people just relaxing and having a good laugh...made my day.β
βWonderful selection, could barely choose off the menu. I opted for the "merry me" buttery beans and it was such a generous portion I couldn't even finish. My sister tried their biscoff waffles and loved it as well. The staff was really kind and helpful, we had a lovely lunch in this quiet, cozy place.β
βLovely fresh food in a super quaint location and very dog friendly (could even sit inside with them when it rained) :) Really good, recommend highlyβ
βAbsolutely love the food, keep getting the burgers as they taste amazing. Really quick and friendly service. I heard the chilli is amazing but have yet to try it. Great place.β
βHad the Hot Greek Bagel and the Vampires Curse bagel, along with a side of Cheesy Chips. Delicious!! My second time here and the bagels taste amazing and are fresh. The staff are so welcoming and friendly! Can't fault it, a must visit! Beautiful cafe, both inside and outside.β
βThis is the best coffee I have tasted in Scotland! My flat white was perfect- strong- great milk balance, creamy. If coffee is your thing- it won't disappoint.β
βGood food and service. Very welcoming and clean environment.β
βHad 2 lattes yesterday at this lovely shop. The coffee is excellent and the couple who run it are delightful. The gentleman gave us very useful information about the areaβ
βI can not emphasize enough how pleasant the experience was here . Me and my lady were looking for coffe shops around the area. I had to throw away 3 coffees . They all sucked. I wonβt bash their names here but frogmoon was off the beaten path so me and my lady decided why not just try one more.. This place couldnβt be any more of a hidden gem. Adam is engaging and welcoming. Heβs a brilliant baker , chef, carpenter, man of many languages and stories. Heβs fluent in Arabic , Russian , polish and English. But most importantly fluent in the art of telling stories. Heβs my favorite person that Iβve met while over here in Scotland and I want to keep going back . The coffee here is fantastic. He takes his time , simultaneously being quick and precise. His shop is adorned with all sorts of frog moon images-even the saucers and cups. His story about the origin of the name is heartwarming only second to his warm personality. If you havenβt tried this place , do yourself a favor and try it out. You canβt say you love coffe or cake without coming to this place. The cakes are out of this world β¦ I have never had a better cake in my life . I didnβt even want cake until I had his now Iβve gone back multiple times to gorge myself. Try the forest moss cakeβ¦β
βSuper spot for a coffee on a sunny day. Friendly staff and very interesting allotment/nursery. Really good example of the local community taking some action to improve local amenitiesβ
βThis was the first of many activities we booked before arriving to stay in Aviemore and what a great place to start off our holiday. Fun activities for kids and grown ups alike, I personally went out of my comfort zone and did the high ropes, having never done anything like that before it really tested me but so glad I did it, my daughter even did the skydive and showed great braveryβ
βWe found it easily, and parking was good. The walled garden was absolutely beautiful and had its own interesting story. The castle was fun and very interesting. You can walk through at your own pace, with very knowledgeable guides in each section of the castle. We really enjoyed the history of the place and the people that owned it and lived there. You can take pictures, and there is a cafe and nice facilities. There is spiral staircases, if thatβs an issue for you.β
βCame here last night at the recommendation of a previous teacher of mine having moved to Aberdeen for university, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Being American, we had high standards for this type of food, especially in terms of authenticity. We were highly impressed, especially by their wings. Our server Becky was amazing, and was on top of it. We thank Sarah for her hospitality as well, and will 100% be coming back soon.β
βIf I could give more than five stars I would. The food: fresh, flavourful, speedy and very generous. If share pictures but we were too greedy. Atmosphere: you know a.place is good when it's busy on a Wednesday! The staff: we were met with such a warm welcome and that simple word is really how I would summarise our whole night. We had an absolutely lovely waiter named Hammad who just made our whole evening. We don't tend to venture out much due to nerves and being homebodies but this kind and sweet gentleman has made sure we come back. He gave us a beautiful complimentry tea at the end of our meal and stood talking to us for a few moments. You could really tell he loves his job and the team he works with and it shows! Thank you so much xxβ
βThe coffee is delicious. The service is fantastic. Highly recommended. I ordered a selection of coffee online during a mad rush for James Hoffman's decaf tasting selection. There was a small error made with my order but this was rectified very quickly. Communication from the team was excellent. Support local business!β
βLovely wee coffee house in Banchory. Great coffee, and good food! Although, a greater selection of toastie flavours would be welcome. Indoor aesthetic is excellent. Staff seem friendly. Prices are not cheap, but are reasonable. Weβll certainly be back again.β
βExcellent mince and tatties (mashed potatoes) with skirlie (oatmeal stuffing) and perfectly cooked vegetables.β
βAnother fantastic visit to Kilau. Great food and love their outdoor seating area.β
βOne of the best independent coffee houses in Aberdeen with better opening hours than most. Comfy seats, always lovely service, delicious cakes, perfect brews and cosy atmospehere. Recommended.β
βHad absolutely fabulous dinner here recently! It is not my first visit and certainly will not be my last. CafΓ© Boehme is the place where you order three courses, as the portions are not big and you can try more different dishes. Four of us ordered different starters and all were delicious and beautifully presented. Beautiful duck for the main course (you are in a French restaurant after all!). Very light crisp French champagne did not give me a headache and was very pleasant and not overpowering. The desserts offered a rich taste with a touch of sophistication. A delightful treat for the taste buds! The staff were very attentive and professional.β
βWhat a cracking wee place!!! Awesome food, fab service just lacking atmosphere a bit. Seated on time, full menu explained to us along with the specials but we had decided before we got there!!! Only complaint was the type of burger bun, the lid pretty much disintegrated when we put into it, meaning that the filling was allmlvet the place and not so much a burger anymore. We'll be back for sure!!!β
βIncredible food and truly lovely staff. My partner, doggies and I felt so welcome, and the food was not just pretty but delicious. My partner said it was the best breakfast burrito heβs ever had β and heβs eaten a lot around the world! Must stop place for vegans and veggies travelling the area.β
βYou seriously would struggle to find a better place to relax and drink a hot chocolate after a perfect beach β±οΈ walk than here xβ
βGreat Bar for a quick meal, the Special Hot Chocolate is delicious.β
βLoved this cafΓ©! The staff were super friendly, the service was great, and the atmosphere was so cozy. They also have a lovely outdoor seating area, which made the experience even better.β
βAmazing authentic and tasty food served by the long standing family owned restaurant. Superbβ
βGreat wee cafe in Banchory, excellent coffee and cakes. Nice decor and friendlly.staff. I think some reviews are.mixing up with a different place nearer Aberdeen, there is no view of Aberdeen Harbour from Banchory!β
βCarpets were fitted throughout my house 3 years ago, double divan bought last year & a beautiful top quality 9ft x 9ft corner sofa bought & delivered 3 months ago. Highly recommend for all your household furnishings. Hopefully purchasing another bed this morning. Keep up the good work to all the staff that work there.β
βAmazing scones! Delightful independent cafe. I had a fruit scone and my friend had banana and caramel. Lovely texture and flavour. Staff knowledgable about their menu and really helpful. Spotlessly clean too. Time to make this a regular spot!β
βThis Is your local friendly cafe in Peterculter. Soup and sandwich for lunch, baked potato with choice of fillings or cakes and biscuits. Coffee and tea and soft drinks. Great service. Toilet wheelchair accessible. Bike rack outside if you wish a short break from cycling along the old railway track.β
