“It was a pleasant experience overall. The food was cooked fresh for us - mushroom soup and seafood risotto - so it took some time to be ready, but it was worth the wait. Excellent service, very friendly atmosphere.”

“Really hard to find fault in an honest, good value and hearty Sunday carvery. Delicious food, warm atmosphere and very child friendly. Play are is also fantastic for the kids. Had a little issue with the soft drink machine but was sorted promptly by staff so no complaints. Will definitely make it a regular trip when driving through Aberdeen.”

“I decided to grab a kebab on the way home from work, was served straight away and didn't have to wait long for the food, doner kebab was nicely spiced and wasn't dry, chicken kebab was well seasoned and very tasty, the pitta breads stayed moist and didn't soak up loads of grease or water. The salad was a nice portion and a good mix of all vegetable. A really nice surprise to get garlic mayo and a spicy tomatoes dip with the kebab, both of which were really tasty, not overly garlic and not overly spicy, they made for a nice accompaniment to the dish.”

“Brilliant local pub full of character with really friendly staff. Not from the area but made to feel really welcome by the staff and the locals. Two TVs that have sports on a couple of dart boards and a pool table. Got decent music playing from the Duke box. Will definitely be back as cheap for the drinks”

“I was visiting Scania across the rd from this van so I took the opportunity to visit and I purchased a large lamb donner kebab. The meat was freshly cut and there was plenty of salad and sauce. “I have never left a review after having a takeaway, as most of the time it’s disappointing but we ordered from Chinese cooking last night and we enjoyed it so much I thought I would leave a review. We ordered red Thai curry, honey chilli chicken, salt and pepper chicken, salt and pepper chips, regular chips, egg fried rice, noodles, prawn toast, prawn crackers and a variety of sauces. Tasted fresh and flavoursome. Rice was cooked to perfection. We loved it and will be ordering again. We could have found our go to Chinese. We haven’t found one yet that we would go back to, I just hope the quality of food is consistent because I have experienced other places that you can have good food once go to order again and it’s not the same. Only thing, if I was being ‘really’ critical is the noodles were very slightly overdone but that’s just some advise if you would like to make yourselves ‘perfection’ Thankyou Chinese Cooking”
