“Saw Aberdam as I was staying at the hotel nearby. I love flavoured fries so I gave them a try and honestly, ate the best burger ive had in some time. The taste of their patties was of a different quality - so superior to even the luxury burger chains. I'll be coming here every time I come back to Aberdeen, im certain.”

“Spectacular burrito and enchiladas. Full of flavour with fresh ingredients. The interior of the place is fantastic too. The fillings were tasty, prices reasonable. The opportunity to try sauces with nachos is very clever. I would strongly recommend that place to every food lover. I will definitely come back to try other options from menu. Keep up the good work! “Superb meal. Probably the best burger I've ever had, and a phenomenal range of beers, with abv ranging from 0.5% to an eye-popping 14.5%. My wife went for a selection of small plates and was equally impressed. The night we were in there was a DJ playing some great vinyl at a very conversation-friendly level. Staff were really chilled (in a good way) and genuinely friendly. The place feels like a real labour of love and hopefully it prospers for many years to come. If you appreciate good beer and/or soul food then we'd highly recommend it.”

“Really excellent service from Cafe Creo for my friends birthday lunch. The food was fresh and delicious and they delivered straight to the door. Really reasonably priced and so easy to arrange. I highly recommend. Have used them before and definitely will again.”

“Stayed for 1 night as we took a drive along the coast Room was very clean and the mini bar was stocked. Comfy beds and nice bathroom. We had our wiener dog with us so he was given some water and attention from the friendly staff, we even stuck his bed under the table. Good to see some old school locals having a wee pint and chit chat at the bar, rarely get to see this now without folk staring at their phones all night. Food at the bar was superb, haggis neeps and tatties lovely, also mac n cheese and other bits and bobs. Great big car park Overall a great hotel which is well kept and not far from the beach etc Only point to add would be the room doors bang quite hard and you can hear every single one each time they close, I will bring my ear plugs on my next visit.”

“The full breakfast is excellent here! I had the haggis and it was scrum. View and service are exceptional! I didn’t photograph the food it looked to good and I had to tuck In immediately. The flat white was a bit milky but still very good. Flat whites should always taste more of coffee than milk. This is an difficult concept for cafes in the UK I’ve found. No substitutions on the menu so eat what you get. You won’t be disappointed❣️”

“Food good , pizza dough sensational :) Caesar salad good but I had the impression that the chicken was ready bought in slices , too much sauce and average quality cheese. Appearance of the place is quite nice, but the staff is very nice smiling and wants to order :)”

“Great festive menu and good value for money. Portions were large! I had the festive burger with pulled pork it was divine. Theres lots of seating though id reccomend booking as can get busy!. We are always well looked after when we go for food or drinks. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Would highly reccomend eating and drinking here.”

“This is the first time we have been to Vovem since their re-opening recently. Their team is solid, from host to bar to service, we had a wonderful experience. Servers are knowledgeable and well-spoken. We were sat near the kitchen which was nice to observe, but perhaps a little loud due to traffic of servers walking by, that did not affect the experience. Food was good and well-priced.”

“I had a nice catch up with a friend at Cafe Society, during a busy lunchtime period. The food was lovely and service was good. It was a tidy cafe. I had to sit next to my friend instead of opposite him, as the seats are quite far apart and it’s hard to hear when there is a lot of people - but that’s what happens when it’s busy! It wouldn’t be affordable to come here every lunch - as a tea and a burrito came to just shy of £10. Although hopefully I can be back again soon.”

“Nice 2 floor shopping centre next to the train and bus station of Aberdeen. The ground floor is mainly café and clothes stores, while the upper floor is for restaurants. Definitely a nice place to hang out while waiting for your train.”

“Every time we get a kebab we only go to Tasty. If they’re closed (Mondays), we order pizza. They once forgot our extra garlic sauce and then resent the delivery driver. The best kebab in Aberdeen. Every time. Can’t fault them one bit!”

“First time customers and will definitely be back. Ordered on their website which was easy to navigate and good choice. I arrived 10mins later and was ready after just a few minutes. Polite staff on the counter despite it appearing busy in the waiting area which is no surprise for a Friday night. All food was roasting hot by the time I got home and each dish was delicious. Only shame really was no prawn crackers included but next time we will order a bag as a they do make a meal.”

“Based on my visit the restaurant definitely deserves its Michelin mention. Had the chance to try the soup, lobster, deer and chocolate desert together with the wine pairing. The total was 155£, which one should expect as a standard price for this type of experience. The sommelier was a lovely lady who explained all the wines and the pairing was always spot-on. For the food, the only downsides were that the lobster sauce could be probably a bit less intense to allow the lobster itself to shine more and the cabbage truffle for the deer is a bit difficult cut properly, but at this point you can tell I am nitpicking. The restaurant is definitely 4.8-4.9 place.”

“First time in 41 years since I've been here. Very busy bar with great atmosphere. Friendly bar. Service was great by Neil, Lewis and a wee waitress(michelle) running around. Great pub food served hot. Lots of tv screens and pool tables. Excellent.”

“I decided to grab a kebab on the way home from work, was served straight away and didn't have to wait long for the food, doner kebab was nicely spiced and wasn't dry, chicken kebab was well seasoned and very tasty, the pitta breads stayed moist and didn't soak up loads of grease or water. The salad was a nice portion and a good mix of all vegetable. A really nice surprise to get garlic mayo and a spicy tomatoes dip with the kebab, both of which were really tasty, not overly garlic and not overly spicy, they made for a nice accompaniment to the dish.”
