“Just in Belfast one night and we stopped into Gong for dinner. Amazing! We had crispy stir fry chili beef and honey chilli and sesame dishes and they were both delicious! Lovely clean restaurant with lovely service. Happy to answer questions about the menu and custom made one of the dishes to a spicier version. We also had spring rolls which were great too. Slightly different version of veggie spring roll but delicious as well. What a great spot just across from Belfast City Hall.”

“First time trying Waka Express and I was so impressed! We popped in, ordered and waited to pick up, couldn't have been more than 10 minutes on a Saturday evening. Ordered one portion of Korean Chilli Chicken, fried rice and once portion of vegetables spring rolls. Spilt it between 2 people and it was so much food we couldn't finish it all. Incredible value, really tasty, staff member on the counter was lovely and made sure every bit of the order was correct! Place was really clean, plenty of seating, disposable cutlery on the tables, and a huge fridge of really cool Asian drinks.”

The mixed vegetables and tofu with sweet-sour flavor were delicious, complemented perfectly by a soothing cup of jasmine green tea. The owner's personal recommendations added a special touch, and the waitress was exceptionally polite. Overall, a delightful visit with outstanding food and attentive service. Highly recommended!”

“Adore the Amethyst, my family (Ball) have been eating from here for around 20yrs and have never once had a bad experience with the food or the staff and anyone saying anything bad about the lady who takes the orders on the phone just don't know her! She's a lovely lady and always chats away to us if we go in to pick up, she is not arrogant or nasty unless the person ordering is arrogant or nasty to her, in which case she has every right to give you the same attitude back. Anyone going on about her clearly doesn't know her. My favourite foods from the Amethyst are the chicken curry, chicken in black bean sauce and chicken fried rice, always great portion sizes for the money and they will even just do plain steak and fried rice for my little brother who is an extremely picky eater. They were the first Chinese in the area to offer vegetarian and some Thai dishes at the time and overall I have nothing but good things to say about a very hard working very pleasant team and especially about the lady on the counter.”

The food is absolutely brilliant, in all the years ordering from this Carry-Out Restaurant never have we had to complain about the standard of food, the quality and service. 5 Stars plus, plus. Forget all other Chinese Carry-outs ... The Orient is the best.”

“We have been using this Chinese for almost 2 years since moving to the area. Food is always hot on arrival (not always the case when getting a delivery) and we are yet to have a bad meal. Staff are always friendly on the phone also. It's our go to Chinese take away and what we would get of we have friends or family visiting. Highly recommend the honey chilli chicken, curry and the beef in black bean. 10 out of 10 in our house!”
