“Definitely one of the best, if not the best pair of leggings I have purchased. Gym shark, under armour and sweaty Betty you name it I have them but A Star leggings are not only soooooo comfortable but importantly squat proof and non restricting. A very pleased customer.”

    Away A Wee Walk

    ★★★★★ 5
    Open

“Excellent walking tour led by Michael. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. It was definitely the best way to discover the Giant's Causeway. Michael was a friendly, knowledgeable guide and attentive to the group. The walk itself is stunning, and we were so lucky to have struck perfect weather! We highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys walking and interested in learning about the area. The walk ends at the stones, where you are free to spend as much (or little) time as you like exploring the main attraction and main visitor centre once the guided walk is complete. We ended up spending another couple of hours walking around the stones and chatting to National Trust staff about the geology of the area before we caught our bus back to Belfast. Fascinating place! Huge thanks for Michael for a very enjoyable and memorable experience.”

“A real hidden gem, just 10 mins on the train out of Belfast. The service was brilliant, really knowledgeable without being intimidating or pushy, and instead helped us order without overdoing it. The wine selection by the glass was great, and good value too, again, great recommendations. The food is the real star of the show, we went for the lightly grilled oysters, the jambons (which really feel like one of those dishes you’ll be craving every few days after), the moreish artichokes, steak tartare Caesar salad which was great fun, skate wing and their signature crispy potatoes. The food comes out when it’s ready in a really clever order, no rushing. The Veda treacle tart was a standout for dessert, and ask for a ‘Belfast coffee’ - like an espresso martini but nicer. By no means cheap, but quality of ingredients and the vibes were brilliant. We’ll be back again!”

“Great little coffee shop. Good range of teas and delicious little cakes and biscuits. I would have posted a picture of the homemade jammy dodger but it was so good I ate it before I took a photo! Money goes to charity and you are asked to pay a donation which is a great idea. Very relaxing after a hectic museum trek next door.”

“We done a 6 week course with Le-Anne, who was absolutely amazing with all of the babies in the class. She made me feel so comfortable in the water and confident to do all of the different things with my baby in the pool. Le-Anne created such a fun environment especially with all of the different songs and provided us with a lot of knowledge to help our babies feel comfortable and confident in the water. Me and my baby loved the classes! Highly recommended!”

“Couldn’t recommend Moira Lakes more. I signed myself up on a trip around the coast of Turkey on a kayak, without knowing really anything about kayaking. I went to Moira Lakes for two lessons and they were professional, friendly and so knowledgeable. They gave me the confidence to go and have a fantastic trip! Thank you ✨”

    Donegal Thatched Cottages

    ★★★★★ 4.8
    Open

“This was maybe my twenty-fifth stay in the Donegal Thatched Cottages on Cruit Island. I've always stayed in cottage number two, or when there were fourteen of us in numbers one and two. Wonderful! The cottages are clean, roomy, comfortable, well-furnished. And the view is spectacular! Out your front windows at the Atlantic, with Horn Head on the left. Out your back living room and kitchen windows at the Atlantic, the huge beach, and off in the distance a beautiful view of Errigal mountain. The beach is immense, and if you turn to the north at the island's cemetery and go to the beach, just out beyond the little island, when the tide is out, there are thousands of cockles waiting to be picked. On the far end of the island there's a golf course. A wonderful, wonderful place.”

“This was my first time at Streamvale pods and I thought it was amazing. Everything was provided for us and the pod was neat and clean. It was so cozy and relaxing I could’ve stayed for a week! The hot tub was all ready for us arriving and they also gave us free hot chocolate supplies. As well as this we were provided with milk, orange juice, yogurts, wheaten bread, soda bread, oats and wee spreads such as jam and butter all for our breakfast in the morning or a snack throughout the day !”

National Trust - Patterson's Spade Mill

    ★★★★★ 4.8
    Open

“My husband, teen son and I did the interactive blacksmithing workshop this past Saturday and it was TERRIFIC! Michael and his assistant Garth first took us on a tour of this historical mill and showed us how spades are made. It was fascinating to see how the mill was built and how it's powered and it's awesome that the National Trust has ensured its continuity. Then they helped us make our own fire pokers using the forge. It was exciting, educational, and challenging but they made sure we did everything safely and our pokers came out excellent (well mostly). I think the only reason this experience isn't oversubscribed is that people don't know about it. Hopefully they'll be able to continue it as it's a great opportunity to do something unique and fascinating. Highly recommend.”
