“Lovely park, great big walk with the dog. It has a lovely little cafe and nice, clean toilets. Most sunny days you can also find an ice cream van near the beach! You can choose to walk several different routes, woods or beach or a mixture of both.”

I was surprised at the selection of savoury nibbles on selection, and was drawn to the beetroot wrap - it was recommended to be served warm by the staff, and it was delicious! “This daycare is absolutely brilliant. We are first time parents and our daughter is nearly 2 years old, she's been attending this creche for almost a year now. We were so incredibly reluctant and wary about sending our little one to creche and for me to go back to work, it was a major decision for us to make. I visited nearly all the creches in our area before deciding which one to choose, and I can absolutely say without a doubt that we chose the right one for our family! The staff in this daycare are amazing! The most professional and well managed creche that i have known. Great communication, amazing food menus with freshly cooked meals daily, and the play activities are always varied. They all work so hard to provide the best quality care for the kiddies. My little girls development has really improved with the help of these girls; she is so social, playful and clever! :) I know my little one is safe and happy in this creche - she loves all the staff so much. Definitely recommend this fabulous daycare, and thank you!! :)”

Drinks were likewise reasonably priced, the facilities were clean and the decor has had an upgrade. Lovely friendly staff who always served with a smile and friendly chat. “I first visited in 1971 as a child. Since then I’ve visited the museum over 20 times. I always see and learn something new. The staff and volunteers are welcoming and knowledgeable. We pick a nice day and walk the full park, thoroughly enjoying the peace and quiet especially in the rural sections. A special place.”

“Crawfordsburn is a great place for whatever kind of day out you have in mind. Inland country park walks, coastal path walk (Helen's bay to Bangor), grassy areas for games, the beach, a nice café, and the ice-cream van! We were there for a church bbq and were able to make use of the activity/scout centre, which has a great covered area for any unsuspecting showers. Lots of picnic tables and toilet facilities. Ample parking in the main carpark and toilets are also available at the café.”
