“I came across this reclamation yard after trying several others which had proven successful in the past. I’m so glad that I came across this particular one and Paul the lovely owner was amazing! They have such a wide variety of products. Ranging from blue/bullnose bricks, lots of bricks from 18th/19th century homes, original fireplaces with all the tiles intact, some stunning chimney tops a long with a lot more. P.s. the nicest dog on site too! It’s 16 miles away from me but I would be more than happy to drive all the way back. Lovely products and great service :)”

“Went to screwfix and tool station was next door. I was able to speak with a member of staff safely and explain what I wanted. The lady found items in the book as my phone wasn’t working and I was able to purchase the items cheaper than at screw fix. Staff were brilliant and the social distancing measures are excellent a credit to tool station”

The boss at the front, sadly didn't get his name each time I go, but we always have a great conversation and he's so helpful even when not buying just browsing and trying to learn. Then there was this young man called Jack, new employee who was so kind and so helpful. Put me first even though I mentioned I'm not buying right now just wanting to check it out, and he got out all the tools explained the differences so well between each tool. Answered all my questions without a problem. Top top customer service and I came back in later to buy, and unfortunately didn't see him but saw the boss and informed him that Jack was a great employee and one of the best interactions I've had from a tool/DIY place. Thank you. Also the store has everything with good prices and great quality.”

“I found Low Cost Timber after a Google search. I’ve used other suppliers previously and Low Cost Timber was significantly cheaper. I was a bit worried in case this meant the timber wasn’t as good a quality, but thought I’d give it a go. Only one thing to say - I’m really pleased I did..!! Timber quality is excellent and better than I’ve bought before. The service is fantastic too. The guy that served me was friendly, helpful, and a true gentleman. He cut the wood to the length I wanted and helped carry it to my car (I’d parked across the road). Fantastic service and quality timber. No hesitation in recommending and this will define be my go to place for all future timber needs.”

“Like a mini B&Q or Wickes in an old school DIY shop format. They stock loads and loads of DIY and household products and other items you wouldn't expect. Timber is all sorted and easy to find. Hardware and garden sections have a great range too. Plenty of parking spaces. Some of the pricing is a bit much then other things are plesently surprising. Overall I find the place very handy. The staff are always helpful and there are plenty of them around.”

“This is a brilliant lock and door ironmongery store. When my lock broke on my upvc door as the hadn't got the actual lock in stock they lent me a temporary lock until the correct lock was delivered .. they also mended part of the latch mechanism free of charge which had come adrift. Brilliant service.”
