“Room was pristine, bumped into the housekeeper as I was checking in and she made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel is attached to a charming country style pub with amazing food and fantastic staff. The location is on a busy road but also a 5 minute bus from the town centre which was a beautiful place to spend the day and has lots of local amenities. I would recommend this hotel to a person travelling alone or as a couple for a peaceful retreat as the location has fantastic transport links all over the country.”

“Afternoon tea as a birthday treat all arranged by my son who lives in Australia. A perfect afternoon for my sister (who was in on the treat) and myself. Good choice of sandwiches, savouries, and cakes. Very pretty crockery, as much tea as we wanted. The service was excellent. We bought some of the cake home as there was so much. We have been here before and will certainly go again. As an added extra, my son arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered during our tea.”

“Lovely Sunday roast. Lovely and hot and fresh. Nice atmosphere. Nice traditional pub. Music in background good too, from era i like. Too many pubs have rappy loud unintelligible music that isn't conducive to relaxing. 80s music best in my opinion. Definitely recommend, this fun local pub.”

“Called ahead first to ask about bringing three of my service users (one learning disabilities and two complex needs). Couldn't be more helpful on the phone. Even suggested we could have a table in the quietest area. Once there, the staff were amazing. Extremely helpful, courteous and couldn't do enough to make sure our people were comfortable and stress free. Took the guys names so the bills didn't get confused and allowed us as much time as we needed at the table. Mitchell and Aaron, you were both brilliant and a credit to the pub. Thankyou both and we will definitely be back soon”

“Today we went to the fabulous Spa for the Fire and Ice Experience. Been taking friends and family here for ages for special occasions and always love it. But today’s a shout out for the Brabazon Bar, where we go after for drinks and a chat and a lovely bite to eat. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. “I got my hair cut today at Kings Barber in Mere Green. The shop is conveniently located in Mere Green with plenty of parking nearby. MG Hardi is a highly skilled and experienced barber—I was very pleased with my haircut. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!”

“My friend and I aways go out for a birthday burger at different places - he told me this place had the best chicken burger he’d ever had. It had a lot to live up to, and it’s always hard to enjoy something when you’ve been told its the best, because you’re no longer comparing it to just being nice… it now has to deliver. So tried to forget all that, ordered a MotherClucker, took my time - and by the fourth mouthful I was convinced. I’ve not had a better chicken burger anywhere else! Using the thigh meat keeps it juicy and is nicely balanced against the very crisp coating. It’s clearly all cooked fresh so a burger like this could take 15-20 minutes to assemble, but I’d wait every time! We’ll be back!”

“I came in last minute and filled a basket full of treats, yes sadly I was one of the those customers but I was desperate.. Well, at Checkout I was looked after by a lovely young lady Tina, and it’s primarily for her service I have left this review. Tina is a very pleasant and helpful young lady who deserves recognition, especially at the very end of her 10pm shift. She checked my items out, provided guidance on Vapes and encouraged my enrolment in the COOP card rewards scheme.
