“I have just read the reviews from Lara and Ben and categorically disagree with what they have said. Do you actually have children that attend the nursery? My daughter has been going here for 2 years and I can 100% recommend it and have done to a number of people. Yes there has been some management changes but in my opinion it has made the nursery even better. I know exactly who looks after my child and always have done. She is excited to go in the mornings and when I collect her she is happy and tells me about all the fun things she has done during the day. Staff leaving could be for a number of reasons as with any other business, it's not necessarily down to bad management. Overall I feel the nursery and it's staff are brilliant and the two reviews I have mentioned are a personal attack on staff members which is both slanderous and inappropriate”

“This nursery has been great for my child and her devolpment. Have found the staff to always be polite, friendly and helpful and the overall facilities to be great. Since visiting it several times over the last year it has always been clean and tidy and plenty of activities for the kids to engage with. We get lots of updates on how our child is doing through the nursery app and it is great to see pictures of her smiling and being super happy. Ignore the bad reviews they seem to be indivdual cases filled with hate and not giving a true feel or account of the nursery as it is today. One review clearly seems to not have read his terms and conditions on sighn up and is bitter about having to pay a small sighn up fee.”

“VE Day celebrations with entertainment, stalls, lovely food and a bar. The hall looked wonderful and you could see how much hard work had gone into it by Tracie and her team. Fabulous!”

“Not been here for a while but it turned out be a excellent night's entertainment. The Sound of Simon is a wonderful tribute band dedicated to to the music of Simon and Garfunkel. The first half of the show is mainly the early hits of the duo.Songs like Mrs Robnson and Bridge over Troubled Waters which were high quality renditions of the originals.Shut your eyes and your truly back in the 60s it was that good.The second set concentrated on the duos solo careers such as songs like Bright Eyes and You can call me Al. Once again truly wonderful versions.The oncore was caped by the haunting Sound of Silence ,sheer magic..This is live music at its, very best. The Therate it's self holds around 125 people, has comfortable seats and a great Sound system. A decent little bar and ample parking makes this an amazing night out.Very reasonable prices too for both drink and the concert. It's a must visit venue I shall be back again very soon.”

“My boys really enjoy coming here. The staff members are so caring and pay attention to development. Sarah and Noor in particular have looked after my boys and the boys have really bonded with both staff members and look forward to going into nursery.”

“Really lovely soft play venue that’s not too big so you can always keep on eye on your little one, but it’s big enough and varied enough to keep them entertained for the whole session. The drinks at the cafe are delicious, I had the Biscoff milkshake and it was amazing! Plus the air conditioning in this heat was very welcome!”

“We visited this beautiful 16th century house mid-week, its easy to find with ample parking. The gardens are lovely, and there's a wonderful walk around the lake to be had. The house itself is stunningly preserved, and there are plenty of helpful staff who will tell you all about its history. Another fantastic National Trust day out! “We held our son’s first birthday party in the main hall here last month. I could not have asked for a better venue! The hall was a great size. The staff organising, & on duty during the day, were fantastic. All very accommodating to our specific requirements & our caterers too. There is ample parking around back which is very useful. I would highly recommend The Shirley Centre & I would definitely use the venue again.”

“This is a lovely clean venue and available for hire. Their regular (through the winter) table top sales are among the best in the area, and are to be highly recommended. The advertising for these sales is a bit hit and miss so you may have to search them out ("Layca Centre Table Top Sales") through Facebook and other social media. Come along and grab a bargain. “Took my son today who is autistic and struggles massively with communication. After a disaster with a previous barber shop he refused to have his hair cut for a VERY long time. Frazer (I think the barber was called at GS) was absolutely fantastic with him and cut his hair from long almost shoulder length hair into a gorgeous short cut. He was brilliant with my son and massively helped reduce his anxiety. I think this has definitely helped my son move forward with feeling confident to now have his hair cut regularly. A happy son and a happy mom !! Thank you !!”

“Visited today with my daughter and her friend. The place is lovely. Not overcrowded and enjoyable for the kids. Staff were very friendly and coffee was great! Also serve halal food which is a bonus. Price is also fair. I'll be visiting again with my kids.”

“Great place for the kids. Small enough to keep the adults in close contact yet let the kids have their fun. They serve cold and hot drinks, and can serve food from the adjacent pub if required. Overall highly recommended”

“My daughter has attended Busy Little Bees since she was 6 months old. She has just left to start reception aged 4. I literally could not of picked a better nursery, she was extremely well looked after and she really enjoyed her time there. I never had any issues or concerns, and the staff are extremley caring. She has thrived in such a positive environment. Highly recommend.”
