The Bacon and mushroom sandwich the Ladies served, was one of the best I have ever eaten, this coming from a chef of 40 years. Bacon perfectly cooked and so many delicious fresh button mushrooms. “We have just returned from a lovely evening at The Swan. We were a large group of 18 people but this presented no problems for the team and food was brought out all together and each meal was tasty, well presented and piping hot. Service was also friendly, efficient and full of smiles. We always recommend The Swan to people but the team really went the extra mile tonight with our large group. Thank you!”

However the decor paired with the music created a nice atmosphere. We both ordered the chicken yeeros and they were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and very reasonably priced. “We attended my grandsons 1st birthday party there . The room was a great venue to hold such an event , there was a small soft play area for toddlers and babies with plenty of seating for parents . We brought a play tunnel and tent to add to the equipment and we decorated the venue with balloons and added themed touches around the room . The bar was well stocked and the service was friendly . We provided our own buffet style food for the guests and they brought their own drinks , so we can't comment on the pubs own food. The pub is not far from surrounding towns and a nice drive out . A great venue to hold a private event or to just pop in for a drink or two .”

“We popped in for an ice-cream (amazing gelato I mean) and a coffee ☕ also deeelish! their pizza looks amazing!!! i will definitely be back for more!! lots of parking. outside seating seemed like a great option only nuisance were the eager wasps outside, so we moved inside... It was a bit pricey, two scoops of gelato going for £7 but they are luxurious and BIG scoops, definitely worth it.”

“Well.stopped here 4 years ago during covid and had a pizza outside under the tent tonight on way to the caravan thought we would try this place again and can not fault the place wife had Chicken chips and salad i ordered fish b chips what a surprise portions were well sized and delicious...... will definitely pop in again well worth the visit”
