“WWWWOOOOWWWWWW I have to say I have ate from many chipshops but Queens Fish Bar is fantastic. I had a meal this evening and the food was fresh and delicious. Reasonable pricing and good portions. The staff were friendly and happy to assist when I initally called up. Service was quick no waiting around for my collection. The best pizza's around West Midlands as they make it from fresh dough rather than frozen dough. This place is a hidden GEM. Its a must to eat from. “A true diamond in the rough! 1st time I walked in here I didn't expect a lot but it is now the only cafe I will use. Its a lot bigger inside than it looks and the staff here are wonderful. So welcoming and friendly. The food is out of this world. Ive never even had a burnt corner of toast, everything is always cooked perfectly. My only negative is that it is pretty cold inside, though this will be a blessing in the summer. You won't be sorry for coming here I promise!”

“Dropped in today, didn't book ahead just turned up. Was lovely to be greeted just inside the door by staff with a happy smiling face. The place was spotlessly clean and the atmosphere welcoming. Food choice is wide ranging something to suit everyone. There were three of us and we shared the ultimate combo as a starter, we ordered rump steak with chips, smothered steak sizzler and the burger sizzler combo. The food was delicious and piping hot. and the beef dripping gravy so good. We were served by two lovely girls, Tianna and Aimee, they engaged with us and made our visit more enjoyable. Also Julie a great cheeky girl, all made us feel so welcome and their bubbly personalities gave an added bonus to our visit. Service was friendly, quick and efficient, if we had to make a complaint, it would be that the food portions were so good we just couldn't eat it all ;)”

“I booked the function room for my partners baby shower. From booking the room up to leaving after the baby shower had finished I could not believe the service I received. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, the function room was ready for me to set up early enough to make sure everything was ready for my partner. The staff made sure that everyone was ok and gave them a warm friendly welcome. A lot of the people that came ordered food and everyone said they enjoyed their meals and would definitely be returning with their family and friends again. I highly recommend Farm John's to anyone who wants and nice meal in a cosy environment with staff that will help you with any need.”

“Booked this venue on the 3rd September for my daughters 1st birthday. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to hold a party. All the bar staff were very pleasant and helpful and went out of there way to make it such a special day. Toni who we booked with decorated the room to a high standard, as well as pointing us in the direction of booking a great DJ and bouncy castle. I have no faults what so ever and 100% will be booking again in the near future”

“Grandsons 18th birthday. The staff were helpful, the food lovely and reasonably priced and lovely friendly atmosphere. Genuinely forgot to leave tip, as we all ordered separately but will make sure I leave one soon. However, it wasn't particularly service with a smile. She didn't get much help until later into the night so maybe feeling the pressure a bit. Bar staff great! Lovely night x”

“The "traditional breakfast" is truly hard to beat for the money here... I just started working at the Shopping Centre next-door, and I've been in a number of times for a quick and easy breakfast fry-up before my shift. The food has been consistently good here, and nearly half the price of a number of cafés I've been to. Service has always been quick, friendly and polite, and the value for money can't be beat. I've yet to try the drinks menu (not recommended before an eight hour shift!), but it's way cheaper than any places I've been in lately.”

“A few days ago a flyer from Wingers was left through our letterbox, with some offers they’re doing. So we thought we would give it a go and it did not disappoint. We visited the Aldridge brand and absolutely loved it. The staff are very friendly, the place was clean and tidy, and the service was 10/10. We ordered a burger meal, mac and cheese, loaded tenders, a cookie and milkshake. I absolutely loved the milkshake, best I’ve ever had and the chicken tenders were the best I’ve had! Crispy and fresh! I wasn’t too keen on the flavour of the mac and cheese but that’s just down to preference, my husband loved it! Burger was really good and full of flavour. The cookie flavour (Churrolicious) was nice but a bit dry. Overall, I’d give this place an 8.5/10 and would definitely come back, especially for the milkshake & chicken tenders. Food is halal which is a plus!”

“I am not local to the area, in fact I live in Derby but just happened to be in the area. My daughter had told me how great the takeaway is. Unbeatable prices, great food. I had mini fish chips and curry sauce. Son had chicken burger and chips. It's all freshly cooked. Chips were great. Next time I will try some Pakoras.”
