“Over christmas 2025 my boiler stopped working. Gastek came out, diagnosed the issue. It was time for the boiler to go into permanent retirement, they just couldn't go on any longer. Wasn't really ready for that scenario, but had to respect their wishes and that it was time to say goodbye old friend you served us well. A replacement was sourced through gastek (bearing in mind this is the christmas shut down period) and within 2 days we had a new boiler installed by the gastek engineers. Just in time for the minus temperatures that hit us new years eve 2025. Gastek do take care of you. No matter what time of year it happens to be.”

“I had an issue with my old boiler and Martyn came round to have a look. He did something to it and told me it be fine for a while longer. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need at the time and because of this I had trust in him. About a year later my boiler finally broke so I contacted Martyn again. They gave me a quote for a new boiler and arranged for when it could be installed. Stefan arrived on-time on the Saturday morning and promptly got to work. He was a nice bloke and very tidy! I've had the boiler for about 6 weeks now and it all seems fine. I would recommend this company because I am pleased with the work and communication before and after installation was great. I will also be booking them to do my yearly boiler inspections.”

Then there was this young man called Jack, new employee who was so kind and so helpful. “Like a mini B&Q or Wickes in an old school DIY shop format. They stock loads and loads of DIY and household products and other items you wouldn't expect. Timber is all sorted and easy to find. Hardware and garden sections have a great range too. Plenty of parking spaces. Some of the pricing is a bit much then other things are plesently surprising. Overall I find the place very handy. The staff are always helpful and there are plenty of them around.”
