“Having eaten at restaurants in Thailand, I had high expectations before eating here and this restaurant definitely did not disappoint! We had a shared starter and two separate mains - I had the chicken pad thai and ended up taking some home in a box the portion size was that big! The prawn crackers they serve are honestly to die for, I have no idea what they put in them but they are absolutely incredible. The prawn toast was just amazing too. Cannot recommend this place high enough!! 100/10!”

“I have nothing but praise for Walton & Hipkiss. From the very beginning they were professional, efficient and worked hard to sell my house! Nothing was too much trouble. Janis was always there with updates and spent time talking me through the process.She even listened when I was moaning about all the things I had to do! The journey was emotional and I couldn’t have been in safer hands to guide me. You can really feel that this is a family business and not one of the corporate chains out there. They really care and offer the best guidance. I’m now happy and settled in my wonderful dream home, yet I’m still popping in to see Janis for a cup of tea and a chat about my new home. (I’m a bit rubbish with redirecting my parcels and Janis has again stepped in to help me with this). “I read some of the reviews before ordering but went with my gut instinct, and I'm glad I did. From the moment my call was answered I was informed I'd have a 90 minute wait due to being busy, which suited me better. The food came exactly 90 minutes later & was not only piping hot but hands down the best chinese I've ever had. I ordered chicken fried rice , beef chow mein, sweet & sour chicken balls and chips. All Absolutely beautiful. 5 stars deserved all the way. I may not live in this area anymore but every time I visit my parents and we offer a chinese , Amy's will be 1st choice.”

“My boyfriend lives in the village this tea shop is in and I’ve gone twice with him before to look around and went in only the other day on Saturday. Each time this cafe has been busy and overcrowded and I’ve felt so bad for the staff but each time, they’ve been exceptional. Smiley, friendly, quick and good at their jobs especially in a busy Christmas period. The food is beautiful and always quick and hot out of the kitchen; my eggs benedicts have always been perfect. I wanted to get everyone’s names so I could leave them here but they were so busy I couldn’t ask and they were so understanding when we moved tables and screwed up their seating charts even if we didn’t mean too. I can’t wait to come back again and try more of the menu, I hope all the staff enjoy their Christmas and know that they’re brilliant.”

“They have very big portions! We have the set menus, a few curry’s and the paratha and omelette combo. All the food was perfectly seasoned and definitely worth the price. We were so full we ended up having to take some food away. The waitress was lovely.”

“I ordered a great mixed grill but must admit I was a little disappointed with no lamb chop or black pudding. It was still a great meal and value for money with the email voucher. The evening front of house staff was very helpful and not overpowering. Decor was a little to shabby chic and could do with abit of tlc.”
