“Got a takeaway vegetarian pasty. Don't normally like pasties but thought I'd give it a go. Was really nice. I bought 2 and had one next day and microwaved it and it tasted even better on second date, so totally recommend it. Very cheap as well ideal to eat on the go or for a picnic.”

“Excellent food. I had soya jalfrezi extra spicy and mushroom rice. It's a very busy place but the wait is worth the while! Attentive friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks. They have the formula 100% right.”

“Kareoke and Dj every Sunday 3pm till 6pm. Restaurant seating are towards the back, good bar with a nice selection of beer, cider and spirits. Food is delicious every time I've ordered having tried the Crispy Chilli Chios before, which were delicious, this time around I opted for Honey Chilli Chips, Chicken Tikka and Poppadoms with sauces. The chips were a chefs recommendation, they were fantastic, I'm glad he did so. Service is always friendly and that love surely goes into the food. It is very flavourful each time and I cannot resist the temptation to grab another dish when I am here. Thank you very much, really enjoyed.”

“Had Christmas Dinner here with my little girl it was absolutly perfect. Food was great, Service fantastic. Was a lovely christmas day for us. The only slight downfall was we were sat outside of the main restaurant (still inside) in the foyer and the sun was out in full force which gave my 5 year old a headache. Would recommend something to Try and provide a shade from the sun maybe? Still we loved it. See you soon.”

“A hidden gem. This restaurant offers superb food to eat in or takeaway at a very reasonable price. 1st time in tonight and was absolutely blown away. The staff are really good, friendly & approachable. The tables are spotless. The service is excellent. Highly recommend.”

“Firstly the building is beautiful and the layout is so nice with big, spaced out tables, the bar on one end, and cosy corners which provides privacy. We were greeted very politely at the door and shown to our table. Food was amazing, so many veggie options! I had the Methi Matar Malai and the Samosas, best ones I've ever had. Cocktails were great too and 2 for £12 is decent so I had quite a few, and still felt very comfortable in the establishment (many people were drinking but no one was being too loud or creepy). Ordering with the QR code was chill and straightforward and staff were still very attentive but also didn't meddle in anyone's business unless we asked for something, they just left us to eat in peace and only came back to collect dishes at the end. Just all round perfect experience. One thing I will say, the car park is tiny for the size of the restaurant so need to get there early and also book a table in advance/ maybe go during the day rather than evening. We will be back!”

“Had a fantastic experience at Hen and Chicken Bar & Grill! The atmosphere was welcoming and lively, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and served hot, with great portion sizes and plenty of flavour, it was THE BEST mix grill I ever had! “Food 100% can’t go wrong. Came again over here today and thought to finally write a review. Consistent in taste and service. Can’t go wrong. Would come again and again. Love the food- be it chicken or lamb or vegetarian. Absolutely moist and tender meat. And to add cherry on top- staff are welcoming - warm and most importantly smily. I would highly recommend this place.”
