“Freshly made pizzas that are yummy. When I mean freshly made I mean freshly made! Not this frozen vegetables like all the other places. They make the base in front of you. Not over powered with spices and mixture of cheese. It's done in a proper Italian style and made with love!”

“Food is pretty good, service is excellent and turn around time is great. Ordered a double cheeseburger meal, had it in 5 minutes, and the guy serving me was very polite. Couldn't have asked for better. Only thing i can say is that it's a shame they're in a quiet area like mossley. If they were somewhere like Bloxwich high street or Walsall centre perhaps they'd be a lot busier.”

“I don’t get too emotional about food. Most of the time I taste, shrug and move on with my life. When I dined at Poli, a casual pizza restaurant, on the first bite into the pickled grapes I stopped dead in my tracks and assessed what I was tasting. It didn’t stop there, the buratta, courgette Pizza, sourdough bread. All dishes were dancing salsa style on the dance floor of my taste buds. I forgot where I was and when reality slowly settled back in I had a smile on my face. Goodness gracious, the dough used in the pizza and side of bread has so many textures and flavours it makes my mind spin. When you have dough that good, when it’s prepared perfectly in a wood fires oven the result is outer crisp, crunch and inner elasticity. I have to give Poli a respectful bow. You are my favourite pizza restaurant.”

“Most people will walk past Mount Fuji on a daily basis hopping around the Bullring. For many, there’s that ‘other place’ that sells ramen, donburi etc… The food at Mount Fuji makes their ramen taste like puddle water. Myself and a friend visited and tried two different types of ramen and some miso soup. All were exceptional, and I use that word rarely to describe food. Truly exceptional. I had the Chicken spicy tonkotsu ramen with added pork belly, and was blown away first by the portion size. This food meant business. The proportion of protein to noodle to broth is perfect, and you get two veg gyozas pierced perfectly on the top of the dish not to get soggy. My friend had the prawn ramen tonkotsu style and not only were the prawns huge, they were clearly fresh before being panko fried. There’s a reason there’s no condiments on the table. You simply don’t need them. Traditionally every ramen shop in Tokyo would have a slightly different broth, and you would learn to choose what you like. There’s space in the options to choose your base and heat. You don’t need to add anything to it. It’d be like asking for Ketchup in a French restaurant. The miso soup, beautifully served and a wonderful palette cleanser. The range of drinks are vast, and they even have some in a little store to take home. Someone please buy me the sake serving set!!! Exceptional service, polite, and the staff know Japanese which is a bonus for anyone learning the language. The menu also serves bento boxes and other rice dishes as well as sushi. Although we didn’t order these, they looked great from afar. The music ranges from calming instrumental to K/J Pop, but the food is so good you barely notice. If you get stuck waiting ‘at the other place’, turn around and walk up the left ramp. You won’t be disappointed! どうもありがとうございます！”

“This is my second time being here, and the food is lovely and the sushi is also fresh. The prices they give are also on the larger side so I definitely recommend! The pricing is also cheaper than all the other Japanese restaurants in the area. The drink I got was a match latte, make sure to properly mix it before drinking. The matcha here is the best one I’ve ever had, but the drink amount has decreased since the last time I’ve gone. First photo is the time I went and the second is the first time I went. Still recommend because the drink price is only £2.80 and matcha is very expensive right now, so I still think it’s a good deal!”

“I went there with a couple of friends and we had such a great time! Alex, who looked after our table, was super nice and really took great care of us. The service was awesome. “I'm so glad we chose to go here for lunch and would definitely want to visit again. The atmosphere was lovely, nice decor and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious. My friend got the pitta, lovely fresh bread and smelled delicious. I got the kebab with salad and naan. The kebab was amazing. It was bursting with flavour and the salad and fresh tasting naan on the side was perfect. The prices are very reasonable and they don't overcharge on drinks like many places. Highly recommend.”

“For myself, this place is a small part of Heaven. I discovered it when my son was a baby and needed a quiet place to drink tea or coffee. Seven years later, I go with my son to have dinner there, and we both enjoy it. The place is very clean, the food is great, and the staff is lovely and hardworking. “My husband and I stopped by today. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and kind. I was having trouble choosing a milkshake, so I asked for his recommendation. When my order was ready, he told me that he had made two shakes with both flavors so I could try them both. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. “A group of 4 of us, service here is great. We came here for a birthday celebration. Nice decor and we would recommend and come again. Chicken 65 and the chili prawns were my favorite dish. Lamb shank curry is also up there. However all of the food had been lovely either way. We were seated quite early and usually u do have to vacate the table within 1 hour and 30 minutes, however the service had been great and they didn't mind us pushing that time by 2 hours though the place got pretty busy. Great for groups of people and couples.”

“I do recommend this place. I like the fact the food is cooked freshly each time and is very tasty. I have tried a burger which was really nice for the price. The baguettes are a nice change with plenty of filling. The pizza is nice and hot and decent value. I tried the pasta which was really good. This place has nice food at reasonable prices. It is not a budget takeaway but do a good job at getting the prices right especially as the food is cooked fresh. I recommend.”

“A great place to visit for drinks and food. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. On this particular occasion we went for Sunday lunch, the portion sizes are very generous and well presented. The only disappointing thing was the roast potatoes. Normally they have been excellent, but on this occasion, we found them to be a little bit dry. Fortunately this didn't determine from the rest of the meal which was very good.”

“We have been going to pizza by goli for years! The food is always spot on with service to match. We normally go to Sutton Coldfield but tried The Lichfield restaurant last night which was great. We were served by Danielle who really looked after our evening but we were sad to find out at the end that any gratuity could only be cash (nobody carries cash). Please bear this in mind as the food is great but the serving staff were fantastic also.”

I asked if we could keep to a certain amount as everything was scanned , due to being on a certain budget.. he didn't question it once and watched everything being scanned to the the amount I could only afford.. which we did and he never once made my daughter and I feel embarrassed what so ever.. so nice to be understo od and treated with such compassion..”
