“I had my wedding here on Saturday, We stayed the Friday to Sunday, And WOW!!! What an experience, the staff, rooms and the wedding its self was absolutely amazing!!!! The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and nothing was to much trouble, My wedding day ran sooo seamless , Tanya and her team are exceptional!!! Defo consider Hollins hall for your wedding you will not be disappointed”

“"don't judge a book by its cover" A warm and pleasant experience we had with the family during our stay. The grade listed building has been renovated to a high standard with decoration to match. The rooms are extremely spacious compared to your conventional high street hotel ones and the service provided was second to none. Children had ample space in the rooms to relax and loved that bathroom interior. All in all a fantastic hotel, in fact one of the best ones we've been to in recent years and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Sometimes its nice to have that personal touch with your getaway and the staff definitely went above and beyond in their duties.”

“Booked this place for friends from out of town and they loved the place. It was cheap and cheerful. Lucas I think was the manager an excellent guy who will attend to your every need. A great place with all amenities walking distance as is the city centre. Cant fault this place at all but could do with a hair dryer but apart from that absolutely spot on. You even have access to Netflix too so definitely wont be bored by watching normal telly. Keep it up guys.”

“Excellent priced hotel, straight outside the train station. Me and my Wife booked in for the night as we were going to a show at the Victoria Theatre just 5 minute walk away. Very speedy check in and out. Clean, spacious and very comfortable. A good night sleep had by us both. Paid £44 for a Saturday night, whats not to like.”

“Ideal location off the motor way . Staff very helpful and friendly The rooms were cosy,warm and clean The food in the restaurant was excellent. I ordered a Caesar salad which actual had anchovies in it (as it should have ) It’s not often you get that so I was impressed . Would definitely recommend and stay again .”

“Staff were impeccably dressed. The guys on reception were lovely. It's a big old building with lots of rooms. It looks as though it's due a revamp, but In this current climate, the room was clean, comfortable, spacious and airy. The bath was big and deep and the towels were fluffy and clean. Breakfast was down stairs, and attention to service was lovely. Something you don't always get nowadays ... Nothing was to much trouble. Definitely worth the money..”

“What an AMAZING stay we had for our wedding weekend! After being initially let down by our previous accommodation nearby for our upcoming wedding at Chilli Barn, we reached out to the Chevin and were able to book lodges and hotel rooms for our guests. My husband was put in touch with Ty (who was amazing!). Every little query or change was dealt with so fast, and he couldn't do enough for us. I will admit, I was hesitant due to the previous reviews about the hotel, but after all the stressing, the stay was incredible! All our guests said what a beautiful place it was and how lovely the rooms/lodges were. I had hired the Bronte Lodge for me and my bridesmaids to use, which was perfect! The staff couldn't have been better. Bringing the pastries and extra coffees in the morning was such a lovely touch - the hot tub was a perfect end the night before the wedding. We honestly couldn't fault the place! That first walk as a married couple, surrounded by the beautiful natural scenery, was incredibly picturesque. I highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to come back for our anniversary. If you are planning to make a booking, ignore the reviews and just soak up the beautiful scenery around you. “Attended Christmas Day for lunch, along with my daughter and son in law who had travelled up from the South West of England to stay for a few days. Absolutely superb, couldn't fault any part of the lunch. Lovely hotel, excellent staff who worked their socks off. A thoroughly delightful experience. Just may have to do it again next year!!!”

“Stayed at the Craiglands hotel for 2 nights for the CVI society convention with my daughter who is a wheelchair user. We stayed in an accessible room which was lovely, enough room for her big powerchair. Huge accessible shower. Lovely comfortable beds. The food ( for the whole 2 days) was very tasty. The manager and staff were very helpful and friendly and any query or request was quickly answered. A lovely stay in a nice hotel”

“I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel recently, and I couldn't be more impressed by their exceptional hospitality, especially given that I booked last minute. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Since we were fasting during Ramadan, they thoughtfully provided us with a delicious iftar meal, which made a big difference. Additionally, they were incredibly accommodating when we needed to extend our stay at the last minute, booking us an extra night without any hassle. They even provided cushions to help us relax and enjoy our time there more fully. The level of care and attention we received truly exceeded my expectations. Also the fact we were close to lilycroft road which is full of the best takeaways and restaurants. Also, manninghim park is opposite the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for its kindness and excellent service!”

“Booked an apartment for me and my partner it was a birthday surprise, my booking was very last minute and the host couldn't accommodate my requests any better than he did everything it was clean, comfortable and sorted in a matter of hours! The pictures of the apartments do not do them justice it was perfect throughout everything is on the doorstep we opted to head up the road for a massage and down to Bisons for food in the evening these were within a 10 minute radius of the apartment followed by an comfortable evening back at the apartment thank you for everything! - Nige”
