“A quirky and friendly train themed café. I am a local and travel by train into London from Brighouse regularly. What better way to start the day than a very large breakfast sandwich! Not only is it better value than breakfast available during the journey there is more and it tastes better. This morning's breakfast changed my life.”

“As a relative newcomer to the area, I tried the Golden Hind cafe a few months ago and it was spot-on. Consequently, I now go on a fairly regular basis and I haven't been disappointed once. Top class Fish & Chips, nice puddings/sweets and the tea is good. Furthermore, the young servers are delightful, and they can't do enough for the customer. Been today on a dull day, but the day was brighter after the meal! Would recommend to anybody.”

“The best pub I’ve ever been! We were there last Wednesday to only have a drink... we ended up having a few and having tea as well!!! Extremely lovely and attentive staff, specially the (I think) manager of the pub. The food was really good and we had a deal! (2 selected mains for £12). We had the burgers and they were really well cooked. The manager knew Spain and talked to us about it. Very good experience, we will definitely come back! Thanks, gracias!!!!”

“Ordered a delivery. Arrived within around 30 mins. The driver was extremely polite and respectful when he rang to double check my address and door number! I had the Chicken Makhani, chapati, chips. All my food was fresh and hot! Complimentary salad and mint yoghurt sauce- and it was FRESH! I enjoyed this too! My chicken makhani was spicier than i had expected (i did choose mild, i think) but it was still so delicious! I really liked that the chicken was cut into smaller chunks! I will be ordering again!”

“I had to write this review as soon as we left. We only live over the road and I have to say the owner, the staff, the food and drink were beyond all expectations. We enjoyed every mouthful of our Christmas dinner and the service, the people and the atmosphere. In all the years of eating out I have never felt so welcome and had a service which surpasses theirs. I would like to thank everyone for such a pleasant and unforgettable meal. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be having our wedding reception there. Not that it effects the food but the delivery driver is also a nice guy too. Definitely the best Indian takeaway in Brighouse.
