“What a find!! We only stayed the one night however, we hope to return and stay longer and explore the area. Our room was lovely, clean, tidy, well decorated and with the river right by our window a relaxing sound before falling asleep. With the kitchen area on display it was nice to see where your breakfast was prepared. The breakfast choice was varied and expertly cooked. Decor throughout was tasteful for type and age of the building. Trevor, the owner, was so polite and had a great sense of humour, he was a right laugh. A real gem of a find is Over the Bridge. Highly recommend!!”

“What a lovely time I had with my Mum for afternoon tea. All the staff were very friendly. It was warm with each booth having a radiator. Food was lovely and fresh. Plenty of hot drinks brought around. Nothing too much trouble. Clean inside. Would definitely recommend and would go again!! Thank you so much.”

“After being let down at the last moment Adrian & Caroline kindly took us and our little dogs in. What an amazing hosts! The room was great with lots blankets and towels for the dogs and a little garden. The breakfast was great. Would highly recommend.”

“The food here is exceptionally good. It’s classic gastropub fare, but made with high-quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. Beautifully presented too, with great service and a lovely atmosphere. I didn’t love the vibe upstairs—it felt a bit flat—so I’d recommend asking for a table downstairs to enjoy the open fire, the beautiful architecture, and the buzz.”

“Went for my niece's birthday who was 3. Few kids of different ages up to my 9yr old all had a lovely fun time playin in the outdoors. Big thumbs up to the staff there they've got a nice little set up and I hope this venture is a big success. Talking to the staff they have other more adult courses like yoga and foraging so outdoor positive time to be had for all ages at the venue”

“Superb overnight stay . Perfect from start to finish. The staff were so friendly & welcoming and are a true asset to the place . We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday lunch on the evening offer with the wine . Everything was tasty, well presented and of an excellent quality. The bedroom had tasteful decor with a country feel . It was spotlessly clean and was an appropriate temperature for a great night's sleep. Breakfast the following morning was hearty and again all products were of excellent quality . We will definitely return again when in the area as the whole experience was perfect .”

“First dine-in experience here following a recent takeaway. The food was excellent which is why we returned to dine-in. We had pre-booked a table and after a very short wait of 2-3 minutes were shown through to it. Menus appeared quickly and our drinks order requested and given. (They only serve soft drinks but you can bring your own alcohol which many people did). After giving our food order we only had about a 10 minute wait for our starters. My wife had mixed kebabs which were delicious and I had meat samosas which were not as I remembered them from the takeaway 2 weeks previously. I asked the waiter who explained there is a difference between the 2 types but I hadn't known when I ordered the takeaway so he brought 2 out as a takeaway free of charge. Ask for dhesi samosas. They're the best!! Mains were nice. My wife had a lamb dish which was a shank served in a thick sauce. There was a lot of meat and the sauce was tasty. I had chicken multani which was classed as "fairly hot". I didn't find it particularly so but it was very flavoursome with a bit of heat. Better than all heat and no flavour! All in all a nice meal and we will be back. Special mention to Uzzi who looked after us and helped with my future samosa selection!!”

“I have booked a few times with Sunmaster now, never had any problems and they are always quick to answer phone if you have any queries after you have made your booking. However, the price does change when you call them with the on line reference to confirm your booking, I know this puts a lot of people off using Sunmaster. I have been lucky though, the price change has not been more than £30 to 40 each time I have used them .... the staff are friendly and helpful (without being pushy) and all documents for travel are sent in a timely manner. I will certainly be using them again as the prices for holidays are the most competitive around.”

“Oh I just love it here! The staff are so friendly, we were immediately welcomed as soon as we stepped in. The food is absolutely delicious and the place has so much character, it really is a gem in Haworth. Would absolutely recommend!”

“The hotel and staff were awesome, and the room was spotless, plus the hallway smelled amazing. But, I was bummed that the pool and gym were closed until noon, which was when I had to check out, even though I thought they'd be open. Also, the outlet in my room, 131, didn't work, and some of the furniture needs to be replaced because it's getting old.”

The team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was just right — the room was set out how we wanted it -ready to decorate, the food was delicious, and the service was so friendly and attentive throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble, and the staff made us all feel so welcome. It was such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, and my sister was over the moon with how beautifully everything came together. A huge thank you to everyone at Gomersal Park Hotel and Imogen especially for helping us create such special memories. “I had to write this review as soon as we left. We only live over the road and I have to say the owner, the staff, the food and drink were beyond all expectations. We enjoyed every mouthful of our Christmas dinner and the service, the people and the atmosphere. In all the years of eating out I have never felt so welcome and had a service which surpasses theirs. I would like to thank everyone for such a pleasant and unforgettable meal. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be having our wedding reception there. The beer conaseaurs will be glad to know they keep a good pint. Merry Christmas to you all and keep up the good work!”

“Michala and her family provided a lovely home from home for our two guinea pigs. Not only did they show them genuine love and affection, but Michala really went the extra mile taking one of them to the vets after he needed more treatment post-op and administering extra care as required. Would highly recommend.”
