“Really nice gem of a cafe in Stanley Park. Plenty of seating space available. Staff are very friendly and on top of clearing tables and cleaning up the cafe as the day goes. Prices were very reasonable and the portion size was more than adequate. The steak and onion ciabatta was delicious, I would happily order that again. 5 stars, would definitely recommend.”

“Stayed at wareham forest lodge and it was perfect. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Reception and check in was efficient, there is a small shop too with all the essentials. Our accommodation was so lovely with everything we could need. Hot tub was awesome and found it easy to access as it was sunken into the deck. The site is so quiet and just lovely. Very close to local pubs and walks and a short trip away from many great places to visit. I would highly recommend.”

“Wonderful. A simply wonderful experience from booking through to departure. Sarah and Danny were wonderful hosts and the quiet serene site was a welcome retreat from Oulton Park circuit. Clean, neat and tidy amenities with super comfy beds and a view of the ponds and night sky, we wished we could have stayed longer and look to return in the new future.”

“We have had an absolutely incredible stay at Rivercatcher's Gezellig log cabin at the end of February. It was safe to say that the cabin had everything we could possibly need and more. Whether it was equipment for the kitchen (everything from cooking utensils, pots, pans, graters, you name it) to storage space and a fridge and freezer, we had nothing to want for extra. Dealing with staff was smooth, easy and pleasant. The customer service and attention to detail was unlike any other accommodation I've stayed at. The location was absolutely stunning! To have a beautiful river in the back garden felt unreal, and the views of the fields and mountains on the other side were out of this world. We brought our dog with us and even for her the site was more than accommodating, one of the most dog friendly places I've ever stayed at. Both the garden and area by the river are completely fenced off, so perfect for letting your furry friend run around without a worry. I couldn't recommend a stay at Rivercatcher even more, I doubt this will be the last time we will have stayed here.”

“Porter Bridge farm We booked this for an extended family get together. The outside pictures are not very flattering but they disguise a very well appointed property which is of a very high standard with enough space for our party of 15 and two dogs to thoroughly enjoy. Plenty of out door space to exersize the dogs, a very good BBQ and seating area and two hot tubs.The booking and checkin processes were well ahndled and all in all we were delighted with the property and the service.”

“Really enjoyed staying here for our return journey. Couldn't ask for any more great hosts room fully equipped with everything you could need and in a nice quiet location. Host went above and beyond to pick us up from local pub after going for a meal. We will definitely be returning again”

“Simply excellent in all aspects of our dining experience. We stayed for two nights, eating in the 3 star restaurant on the first night and the 1 star restaurant on our second night. Both were exceptional. They are very clever chefs who ensure the dining experience is perfect. I would absolutely recommend Moor Hall to everyone, it's special.”

“Great to have such a lovely cafe in Ellesmere Port. All home cooking and they make lovely cakes daily to have with a coffee. Staff are very friendly and helpful. In March 2021 they moved to a more central location in Ellesmere Port with free parking and back garden.”

“Lovely coffee shop, friendly staff, couple of vegan options for food and most of all vegan cake! We had Herby Chilli hummus with ciabatta, nice flavour, decent portion size. Fries are nice and crispy, not sure if vegan. Vegan carrot cake tasty and there were a couple of other options as well. Def going to be a return visit here one day!”

“Cineworld Broughton is hands down one of the best spots for a movie night in the area! The highlight has to be the 4D cinema experience – it’s next-level. The moving seats, wind, scents, and effects really pull you into the action. Makes watching a film feel like an adventure! The cinema itself is spacious, clean, and well-kept. There’s plenty of parking too, so no stress about finding a spot, even on busy weekends. Loads of food options nearby if you want to grab a bite before or after your movie. Perfect place for families, date nights, or just catching the latest blockbuster with mates. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t tried the 4D yet – it’s a game changer!”

“Beautiful stay again at Thornton Hall hotel. Old school service where customers are valued, the staff are so friendly. Rooms are spotless and so comfortable. Great deals at the moment where you can use the spa as well. The spa is a special place so relaxing. Just love this hotel I have been many times and just feel it gets better with each visit.”

“We visited the garden on bank holiday Monday (May). What a stunning garden and a must visit for cottage garden lovers. We stayed for nearly three hours and walked around the garden twice (even though it was raining) as there was just to much to take in on the first round. Drinks and cakes available in the garden as well which just made the experience even better. The owners are also a delightful couple and happy to give gardening advice. We left with a list of new ideas for our garden and we are now looking forward to revisiting in summer. Highly recommended!!”

“This is a fantastic villa. There were 8 of us in our family and we stayed for a week. There was plenty of room for all of us. The main living area is great for having meals together and playing games in the evening. The pool is so relaxing and keeps you cool in the heat. We didn't think we would use the hot tub in July temperatures but it was surprisingly nice, especially later in the evening. Tugra and Sema were a fantastic help, they arranged airport transfers, an extra paddling pool for the patio area and they cooked us a really amazing barbecue one night. They also put us in touch with a really reliable, reasonably priced taxi driver who became like a tour guide for us. It's too far to walk down to the harbour so you'll need him every day. We can't wait to go back”

“The cool lighting, good vibes and general atmosphere was just amazing, such a great experience. I’d recommend this place to anybody, it’s perfect for a couples date night, dinner with your friends or even with the family, it’s just such a gorgeous location and feels there is so much history in the beautiful building! We tried out some of their small plates on the menu at the time, from mojo rump steak covered in a beautiful mint sauce, to nduja butter prawns, which were delicious! The staff were so kind, welcoming and friendly, and we generally had an all round fantastic experience here, can’t wait to come again!”

“It was a fun day out for the kids. They have rowing, pedal and motor boats. One can ride for 30 mins. We have to time our rides. A deposit was taken and duly returned as soon as the boat was returned.”

“Came here with my work for a meal and drinks. We all sat out in the courtyard which I thought was very nice. There were all these huts around a fire pit and the they were all shielded from the sun which was great as it was a super hot day. They did also have heaters underneath all of them so would be a great place to sit out on a cold day as well. The food came out and it looked amazing. I ordered the 8oz ribeye steak.”

“Absolutely gorgeous place to eat and a fabulous farm shop. Plus you can see lots of animals too! Especially the highland cows! Highly recommend good home cooked food. Really tasty especially pie of the day.”
