The colour I wanted wasn’t in store, she let me try on 2 sizes of a different colour so we would be certain which size was the best fit before ordering them to be sent to my home address. “Nice layout of shop not cluttered. Clean. Prices very low quality very good, you just have to be carful of sizing best to try on to be safe as they can vary quite a bit. Staff lovely and friendly”

“Bought 2 items for my wife couple of days before Christmas & unfortunately got wrong size, when I bought them ( paid cash ) the shop assistant said I would receive a e Mail receipt which I never got & didn’t get a till receipt. Went through customer service On Line & within 24 hrs & giving them some information was told to take them back and I would receive a refund or gift card Went to the shop yesterday & all I had to show was the e Mail & was given a gift card with the amount on. Absolutely 1st class from customer service & the shop assistant”

“A big Matalan by Northern standards with a large assortment of clothes, even some over-sized clothes on offer. We went shopping for undies, hankies and socks here and were very happy with what we got. I can't understand the other reviewers' problems, the staff were lovely and very helpful.”
