Staff are a quite young, they would benefit from a little customer care training such as acknowledging you as you leave, being more present in the gym.”

“I stopped off at this store recently when in Burnley to see my former co-workers, nearly a year after my temporary contract expired in January 2021. There is no bias in reviewing now that I haven't worked there in around a year so to begin my actual assessment, the manager patiently waited to speak to me and was rather welcoming when he did! We had a catch-up with each other and he found the only other person who worked with me, a gracious act that made for a fun conversation. The products on sale were very good, but I did not buy any because I live in Skipton where there is also a Sports Direct so it would be impractical to do that from one so far away.”

This felt good as he even went with me to where the product was looked at each rack to find me the style and size i was looking for. “Ria, a member of staff, gave exceptional service today. I was hoping to buy two of the same jacket, but only one was on the stand. While I was at the checkouts, I mentioned it to her, and she kindly went to look for another. Although there wasn’t one in my size, she went out of her way to find a similar jacket that worked perfectly. While she was gone, I also spotted another jacket I liked in a different size. Even though the store was busy, Ria remained happy and enthusiastic throughout. I felt like I might have been a bit awkward, but nothing was too much trouble. Her customer service really stood out. I can’t say the same for another staff member at the checkouts, who didn’t seem nearly as engaged or enthusiastic.”
