“We're in Brighton for our summer holiday and since we're zero-waste-fans from Cologne, I was keen to visit the "Store next door". The journey by bus uphill from the city centre was more than worth it!!! My daughter had lots of fun to watch the peanut butter machine do its magic and to go to the basement and look around. I also liked that they sell local and handmade products like the Brighton socks which I bought as a useful souvenir:) I can also highly recommend the whole neighborhood. We meant to stop real quick at the "Store", but there were so many different tiny shops that attracted our attention, we probably spent more than two hours in the Fiveways area :)”

“Great variety of choice. Very friendly staff. One little issue: I have witnessed a lot of shoplifting, so I would advise you to place the most expensive products (like all the cosmetics at the back of the shop) to the front of the shop as those are the ones I have seen being stolen. Once I saw a smartly dressed tall woman literally putting expensive cosmetic products into her pocket. It was shocking to see.”

The choice of refill produce is great, good availability and the prices for refill don’t seem to have gone up for years. ditch the plastic and come here - they’ve also got the most generous loyalty scheme around and you get stamps every time you bring your own refill jars. Fantastic shop that we depend on.”

“I like this shop a lot, a good selection of Polish and Eastern European products. I would recommend sausages and pierogi (dumplings), as they are different from the local ones. Also, the selection of cakes is delicious with cheese cake as my favourite one. Powidła - plum butter - that is my favourite kind of jam.”

“Great shop in the middle of brighton and hove. Deceptively large and has everything one could want. The staff in here are friendly and knowledgeable and there are more tills here than you can poke a stick at. The self service ones at least, but noone really wants manned tills anyway, too much conversation for my liking. Anyway I digress, great shop and good selection of flowers also”

“I use the coop app directly rather than a third party as the prices are cheaper but the delivery times 9/10 are always delayed. I really wanted a cigarette I thought I’d have some by 9pm that was half an hour ago I’ve no idea when it’s due to come not o my that I want some milk for my morning coffee I’m gonna end up having to go to the shop in person at 7am”

“I’m not usually one to leave reviews for convenience stores but today Jules went above and beyond. She saw me with an injured arm struggling with my shopping and amidst a busy shift decided to help me. They are an absolute gem and an asset to this co-op. They were lovely enough to talk to me the whole way round the store as well as carry my shopping and help me take it to the tills bag it up and back out to my car. I cannot exaggerate enough how much I needed something like that today to know there is still decency and kindness. Thank you so much Jules. I hope you know how much I appreciate it.”

“Well stocked and the chocolate was in the fridge as it's super hot, that really shows they care, because in other shops is just melting off the shelves ! The drinks were cold in the fridge too. I forgot to buy water, but I was reminded by the shop assistant( I think he might have been the owner)that I might want a drink with my chocolate. Great customer service”

The credit card machine doesn’t work simultaneously with the phone so the owner had to put down the phone as she was serving. Please come and visit our lovely shop and have a nice experience like everyone else does :) Mr Gary Pinnel your problem lies with UPS not Sally’s Store! “Great selection of food, especially if you want to buy something for a long train journey home - you do have to go outside of the ticket barriers - you should be able to do this if your ticket is valid. Good value and quality of food from M&S as it should be - handy for the station too”
