“Really nice little cafe. Bright and colourful and the girl serving from South Africa was really friendly! We only ordered drinks and some chips to eat outside (17.08.24 about 15:25) and we were served quickly. Chips were brought out to the table for us outside so we didn’t need to wait for them. Will definitely go back - the burgers that the chef was cooking looked DELICIOUS and so did the chicken wings that we saw them taking out!”

“We got married a Brighton Town Hall and the staff and registrars were super helpful from the moment we booked our day! They answered all our questions in advance quickly, and on the day Tim and Sarah were wonderful! They were very professional - they calmed us from the minute we arrived and guided us throughout the whole process! The ceremony was perfect. We also got to do a confetti walk out the side of the Regency room we were married in which was perfect and ended our ceremony beautifully! We also got to use Wedcast which let us live stream the ceremony to our friends and family in up North, New Zealand and America!”

“My partner and I stumbled on the cafe on our walk. We visited on a sunny day and loved the cafe! Its a very cute caravan kitchen with lovely staff. We both had green soup with bread. Both of these were delicious and we had to ask for more bread! All the food was of very high quality and we spent an amazing afternoon there!”

“Tim and his staff are fantastic Our westie Charlie had chronic colitis and our local vet said they had done all they could for him. His weight was dropping dramatically and we feared we were losing him. Tim began treatment and within weeks he was putting on weight and back to his active life. Later he developed a skin disorder which again Tim was able to control. Sadly Charlie passed away with cancer but we know Tim gave him another happy year of life . Thanks again Tim you were brilliant Mark and Tanja”

“Aroma's uniqueness is the direct result of the beautiful family that runs this very special place. The coffee is high-quality and delicious, the baked goods are moreish, and their made-to-order foods are fresh and packed with flavours. I would highly recommend 'Fool' – a classic but hard-to-find-anywhere-else bean dip served with bread. The chicken kabseh falls off the bone and is served with perfectly seasoned aromatic rice. The homemade desserts such as the kunafee and the kabseh are enough to make the trip to George Street worthwhile. The delicious food aside, being at Aroma – one feels the kindness and tranquillity that is hard to come by in chain cafes. Customers take their time here; they read, they have meaningful conversations, they plan and congregate. It is not further from the truth at all to say that Aroma is a cultural hub, a place where people from all walks of life find their place of respite. I cannot recommend this place highly enough; come for something delicious, but stay and keep coming back for the beautiful souls that run this establishment.”
