Surgery in Brighton

“Had to make several visits with Minnie in last three weeks to have various tests and she has been diagnosed with Diabetes, needing insulin twice a day. I was quite taken a back by the substantial costs l have had to pay for everything so far, for the consultations, the treatment, tests and medical equipment l had to purchase. I was expecting to pay, but not as much as I have done, and this is still ongoing. Having said that, I could not fault the excellent service and attention Minnie has received so far. 30th July 2025 - Had to visit the vet again today as Minnie is not eating well and still drinking a lot. I had concerns, because I wasn't sure of the amount of insulin dosage l should give her. I phoned them yesterday afternoon and was told that I would receive a phone call that evening, as the vet was at another practice .I did receive the call, and they suggested they would make appointment for today, as vet wanted to see her. I was very grateful for the quick response. Vet did some more tests today, and her glucose levels were much to high. They want her to be monitored, and suggested she spends a whole day with them under supervision, so she goes in on Tuesday next week. I cannot fault the attention they have been giving her, and I can see that they care about the animals and do all they can to help them live the rest of their lives in comfort and painless.”

They are also very competant and kind and whenever we have needed an appointment we have managed to get one of the day. They address any concerns the owner may have and we have found them to be very trustworthy, prioritising the most ethical and most cost effective option over monetory gain or unnecessary treatments or interventions. We like this veterinary group very much and are pleased that they are so local to us.”

“We have moved to polegate from Hastings and chose this vets purely on recommendation. We have 3 pets and cookie this yorkie is our oldest. She's 15 years old and starting to get poorly. This veterinary practice greets you on the phone with a cheerful and happy manner. When you visit the practice all the staff are so sweet, they are kind, caring, considerate, full of smiles and really make you and your pets feel welcome. I've seen 2 different vets now and both were really thorough and very informative. You don't feel rushed or like you have no idea what they are talking about. They really take the time to explain and put your mind at ease. I could not recommend them enough. We are going back on Wednesday for another procedure for our little cookie, and I feel totally at ease knowing she will be looked after properly.”

My children and I have been coming here since about 2012/2013 and have seen Hamid and the lovely nurse/receptionist/seems to do everything else consistently. They have watched my children grow up, have always been friendly and welcoming and also flexible. Hamid has always given great advice for teeth and the dental care is fantastic. I have 100 percent confidence in him and his staff and they always make us feel relaxed. Hamid has always ensured he has our best interests at heart, has guided us towards the orthodontist route for braces for the kids, one of them had her braces off and she was really excited to see Hamid yesterday as the difference before and after was phenomenal and she wanted to show him. I always recommend this dental practice to my local friends and other friends that struggle to find a good dentist probably get a bit annoyed with me saying how great this practice is, but hey - lucky us! So a massive thank you to everyone there and none of you are allowed to retire or move. :)”

“We were recently referred by our local vets to see Gavin .Our eleven and a half year old Staffie had started to suffer from extreme lack of energy which we were concerned about.We got an early appointment with Gavin who advised us she would need to stay overnight for tests and treatments as needed .She was diagnosed with heart failure.Two months on She is a different dog running,playing and so much happier due to the medication as prescribed.So it is with the care and attention given by Gavin and his team that we have our Lovely Tia back enjoying a good life.We would highly recommend this surgery.
