“As a Turkish person, i want to thank them for bringing the Turkish hospitality and service culture. Amazing food, amazing stuff. Special thanks to the owner Cahid abi to made us feel like home.”
“Excellent food, drinks and service. Really nice ambience. Highly recommended.”
“Lovely staff, even for a Friday evening we barely waited for our food. Fun atmosphere and amazing cocktails. We shared the platter for 2-3 with 4 and had the hot mezze starter. Perfect!”
“Great find in Brighton. The food was cooked perfectly and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend the chicken shish, calamari, salad and prawns. Best meal we had all week!”
“I ate steak in this restaurant, and it was really delicious, well served. They are very nice and polite people. I strongly recommend you to eat here.”
“Top-notch local café. We most recently stopped in for coffee but the food and wine are all excellent too. Very calm, lovely place to be and easy to recommend. A gem.”
“Delicious mezze, great selection and lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Slightly dark in the restaurant itself but not a huge issue”
“Excellent experience, which is what I expect when I eat out. Extremely friendly staff and falafel wraps that must have been made in heaven. Excellent cappuccino, my coffee must be 10 out of 10. Disability accessible, I took my mobility wheels to the table.”
“Amazing food, been waiting for this place since it was first announced. We have only been doing take seats so far but always looks packed. We went for theGrill and Meze for £20 which came loaded and was more then enough for two. Highly recommended”
“We had a fantastic late afternoon lunch at Turks Oasis. Such delicious food and lovely attentive staff. Also very pleasantly surprised by how reasonable it was. We shared a couple of dips (with warm flatbread), as well as a few plates of hot meze. Super fresh, generous portions that were full of flavour. The air con also went down very well in this weather! We will definitely be back and be recommending to friends :)”
“We came to Efes on a whim and what a great decision that was. Efes is easily the most authentic and lovely experience we've had in Worthing. Our server Ali was attentive throughout. We will definitely be returning and I would recommend the experience to anyone. The food was incredible, to the point where we took home leftovers and argued between us over whose dish was best (we couldn't decide! Both were amazing!). A 10/10 experience - the kind where if someone who was visiting Worthing asked me where I'd recommend for dinner, I would say Efes.”
“Found this restaurant as staying at a nearby Premier Inn. The atmosphere is lovely the staff are great and the food is some of the best Turkish food we've had. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.”
“I took Mum out here on her Birthday and she and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was magnificent, varied menu and enticing presentation. Staff were friendly and attentive and the decor and music offered a lovely Mediterranean escape on a rainy English afternoon. Free complimentary bread and dip. I highly recommend eating out here. Quieter during the day but can be very popular at peak times so recommend booking a table prior. If you haven’t eaten here yet do it now! You won’t be disappointed.”
“This is our fifth time here and absolutely loving it! Amazing well marinated perfectly barbecued meats Generous portions- the meal for 3- well a family of four couldn’t finish it! We got so much to go Staff are friendly and check on us Toilet was clean too Photo is of our to-go box!!”
“We ordered the chicken platter for 2.it had more than enough meat for two people. We thoroughly enjoyed it as it was all cooked to perfection and was so juicy. I loved the red cabbage salad that came with it, however they've stopped doing the pomegranate dressing which is a shame! The cous cous is very tasty as well. The restaurant has a good vibe and staff are really helpful. They serve Efes beer as well.”
“Absolutely wonderful service, food was exceptional, fresh and authentic. Staff very knowledgeable about the choice of food and wine.. honestly can’t fault it. At last a restaurant I can recommend”
“An exceptionally good Adana kebab. Easily as good as I’ve had in Istanbul, tender and perfectly spiced. Lovely fresh bread and salad, perfect rice, friendly service. Full marks!”
“Fantastic meal here. I highly recommend if you like Mediterranean / Turkish food. We visited for lunch and had the lunch special with a starter and main for £14. We had the potato salad, aubergine spread, lamb, and moussaka and it was delicious and plentiful. I’m sure dinner is lovely as well. Very cute spot slightly off the main beat in Brighton.”
“Only decent kebab in Peacehaven/Newhaven area Good food and good service”
“This is my local kebab place and I regularly get from here when it’s been a long day and I’m just feeling like some good comfort food, love their shish and doner wraps, the flavours are always perfect and they have the best cream cheese jalapeño poppers around. Also the guy in there is always super friendly, generous and helpful so thank you!”
“Lovely kofte and shiesh combo. Pipping hot, tasty and a decent salad. Perfect after a late shift.”
“One of the best Indian tea I had ever in the UK prepared by the very amazing Anu”
“I've ordered from them too many times to count. My local take-away. Amazing service. They are open till the time they advertise and have never given me an issue for ordering close to closing. Good food and consistent in quality.”
