“Fantastic roast dinners well worth the money, really nice cafe with very friendly staff and atmosphere they even have a dog floating around his name is Deacon and he likes beef! We've been around a bit lately trying roast dinners including The Stag, Ring O Bells in Hinton Blewitt, Hope & Anchor in Midford, Castle Farm etc... and this little gem in Batheaston has been the best overall experience out the lot. Me and my father thoroughly enjoy coming here to Cafe 25 and we highly recommend it. Right now we're not interested in trying anywhere else as we've found and settled on this lovely little place. If you do come make sure to show Deacon your appreciation by giving him a little meat and he will be truly grateful. Served by the ever so lovely Kay who is always up for a chat and will make you feel very welcome indeed. Enjoy! Tom & John”

“You know a cafe is good when there is a queue! Fortunately we only waited 10 minutes to be seated. The food was delicious, service was speedy and the price was very competitive. The pistachio latte was incredible, as was all the food. Can highly recommend.”

“What a find! A gorgeous intimate restaurant in the centre of Cheltenham, quietly serving up some of the best food in the area. There were several of us so we had most of the menu between us and every single dish was a winner! The wine list is brilliant and the house sparkling wine is divine! The service was utterly charming and we felt very looked after. Thank you!”

“We had accidentally booked for the wrong day and they were very accommodating considering our mistake............I will say, it was Absolutely stunning. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. It wasn't cheap but then we didn't expect it to be considering how beautiful the food was. Was lovely to actually be able to talk to the chef himself and was very approachable. Thankyou for an unforgettable experience!!! Darren and Sarah”

“What a gem this place is. We booked a table for our honeymoon and were treated like royalty. A front window table, and top notch service. Being Gluten Intolerant my menu had been marked specifically for my needs, and was given the utmost care and thoughtfulness. The olives to start were plump, garlicky and smokey. The food when it arrived was amazing. The ocean bream was crisp, and the samphire and saffron sauce just delicious. We literally mopped up our plates. The steak was tender, the the panne cotta and chocolate torte with poached plum just absolutely delicious. Amarelle who served us was sweet, knowledgeable, and attentive. What a lovely restaurant - a must visit.”

“Would definitely recommend this place for meals if you are visiting Bath. They serve very nicely cooked meals and have a nicely decorated environment for you to enjoy your meal. Must try their signature 3x handplyed scallop, with the green sauce and lemon, fresh and nicely cooked. They offer lunch set which we can have refillable yorkshire tea with a main course. Their cod fillet is fresh and juicy, with the green paste and sauce together, just perfect. Salmon fishcake is another recommended dish if you like salmon. Different texture but still nicely cooked. Overall portion is big together with the potato. It’s a gem in Bath. We were seated on the open terrace, which can directly feel the chill in the air and direct sunlight. Mint chocolates come with the bill box is just nice as well. The waiter and waitress were very responsive and friendly from seating until leaving. Pet friendly restaurant”

“Amazing food! I had the scallops, then duck, and then the chocolate ganache to finish - all dishes were very delicious and cooked well. The cheese board also has a great selection of cheeses, and they give you a mountain of crackers. The staff were also lovely and attentive. “I booked a private party for my wedding here. They happily accommodated 30 people, and we could have had up to 60. The appetizers they selected for us were all delicious and accommodated diet restrictions as well. “There are lots of good walks near Hinton Charterhouse. I would recommend that, like us, you make the Stag your pit-stop of choice. The welcome is always warm and the food is really excellent. My friend had a Cajun Chicken and prawn special, which he said was delicious. Because I know how good it is, I went for ‘Old faithful’ - ham, 2 eggs and chips. It was to-die-for, as always. Home cooked ham packed with flavour, tender as you like, thick carved and plentiful; oh, and runny eggs! It’s a sensational lunch. It won’t be long before we find ourselves back here, I’m sure. UPDATE - We just visited for a Sunday roast. I can honestly say it’s probably the best pub roast I’ve ever had. You certainly won’t leave hungry. Highly recommended!”

“Delicious food in this cosy venue! Had high expectations based on the reviews I'd seen and this definitely lived up to them. The main downside was we were too full to order more dishes! The mushrooms were a highlight, perfectly crispy without being oily. Nice cocktails too.”
