“Had an amazing lunch here today. After smelling delicious food half way down the road I decided to stop in and give it a try. The food was amazing and worth every penny. The waiters display passion and dedication which I really appreciated. Sitting near the bar and watching the bartender carefully make and serve drinks was a delight. I highly suggest attending this warm and welcoming restaurant!”

“The food here is first rate and the place is spotless. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. A huge mixed veg meze was £10. Between the two of us (inc drinks and coffee) was £40 and we had two boxes of food to take away. Very interesting selection of food and drink. Certainly worth visiting - we will definitely be back.”

“We took my parents to the Elder for a very belated Christmas present and it was a fantastic evening in so many ways: some of the best food we’ve ever had combined with very attentive but relaxed service with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and felt very well looked after. Every course felt like a treat. We look forward to returning sometime soon.”

“Mate. Honestly, I was expecting a mid meal with small portions. For a takeaway Indian inside of a locals pub, I am absolutely flabbergasted! The pub itself is adequately okay, probably not the fanciest place to eat your food. We took away, the Lol Gost, Chicken tikka masala, and a few sides. BANGIN'! I can honestly say it is within the top 3 Indian restaurants I have ever eaten at. Very decent pricing, and incredibly fair portion sizes. Me and my friend couldn't finish it all (though we could have had seconds if we had a couple more pints) Very friendly staff, smiles on their faces (and gave up extra papadams) Don't take my word on it, try it for yourself (however you should take my word on it, it's very good) Yours sincerely, Me P.S. “The service was great! Had lovely conversation with the chef who is from Barcelona, and the service staff who is also Spanish! We ordered the steak paella and it was delightful! Full of flavours of the beef and various spices that unfold as you bite into the rice! The rice was nice and crisp and flavourful till the last bite! You can tell that the chef loves to cook and he checked in on us a lot! The croquette was really crispy and rich. The octopus was a nice complexity of flavour. From the sweetness of the octopus, to the punch of garlic sauce and the earthiness of the mash! A great combination altogether! The atmosphere was really nice! Fit for a cosy intimate wedding”

“Lovely Afternoon Tea Experience in the Heart of Bath We visited this location for Afternoon Tea and had a really beautiful experience. We arrived around 2:30 PM and were lucky to catch a live piano concert, which added an elegant touch to the atmosphere. The standard Afternoon Tea menu was around £100 for two people, which felt fair considering the amount of food included. There is plenty to eat — definitely more sweet than savoury — but everything was fresh and nicely presented. The service was very kind and attentive, and the interior is absolutely charming. One of the highlights is the back rooms, where the walls display the history of the place and its connection to the Roman Baths. It’s actually linked to the Pump Room, and if you choose to visit the Pump Room and then the Roman Baths afterwards, you can skip the main queue, which is a great bonus. Overall, if you’re visiting Bath and want a traditional Afternoon Tea in a beautiful and historic setting, I definitely recommend this place.”

“The way food should be!! Just such an amazing lunch on our second and equally amazing visit. The menu was varied and interesting and really shows what plant based cuisine can be. The sourdough ice cream was interesting, not my personal preference, but really enjoyed getting to try it. Thanks all Also the bread is the best around!!”

“Excellent burgers - they look like the picture of a burger you want but never get!! We ate the cheese gourmet burger and double spicy chicken burger, as well as a special prego steak burger. It's a piece of thin cut sirloin steak and grilled in such an incredibly tasty end result, served with cheese and ham - I am avoiding carbs so didn't have the bun, and was not disappointed - great choice for a low carb takeaway if you're after a treat. The chips are like chip shop chips but crispier, I'm told really good, it was all I could do not to try them myself! I would recommend phoning ahead, they were super busy Saturday night. The website has a few kinks to be worked out and they know about this, and I let them know about them and they responded quickly and are working hard to get them fixed. Great staff responses and really good service. Honestly one of the best burgers I've had for ages, well done guys, we'll be back.”

“This was one of the best veggie hamburgers I’ve had in a long time. I don’t remember exactly what I ordered, but I had the burger with the meatless bacon and it was quite delightful. The fries could use a bit more salt, the strawberry shake was delicious, and the service was excellent.”

“Lovely little pub in a sleepy village on the outskirts of Bath. My partner and I stayed for one night and it felt really homely and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive and the room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The bed was so comfy too! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.”

The weekend of the wedding, the team were incredible, nothing was too much to ask and they really looked after us and all our guests. We recently had the immense pleasure of celebrating our wedding at The Crown at Kelston, and we can genuinely say it was the most perfect day imaginable, largely thanks to the incredible team there. From our very first contact, we dealt with Neve, who was absolutely brilliant. Neve made the planning process seamless and stress-free. In the lead-up to the wedding, everything ran so smoothly that we genuinely didn't have to think about a single thing on the day itself – a true gift for any couple! Neve even coordinated directly with our florist, two musicians, the stretch tent company, and our cake supplier on the morning of the wedding, ensuring all suppliers were perfectly in sync without us lifting a finger. Whatever our request, big or small, nothing was ever an issue for Neve and the team. They were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond. On the day of the wedding, the staff worked effortlessly from start to finish. Their attentiveness, efficiency, and friendly demeanour were remarkable, ensuring all our guests were well looked after and the celebration flowed beautifully. And we must mention, the food was absolutely amazing – a real highlight that all our guests raved about!
