“Booked to stay at this Youth hostel - single occupancy of a bunk room (2 beds) - light for each bed - stool - not much hanging space and a bit cramped for two who perhaps do not know each other I was in room 11 - shower, basin and toilet was literally next door which I did not have to share I am a long life YHA member but got 10% off They do ask for photo id - but I did not have this but did have my old membership card Signed in and out - For security you ring the door bell to get in first time and after that you are given a code - reception open from 4 pm to 10 pm I think”

“Stayed here for a year when it was brand new, lovely, safe and quiet palce. Have parking space, communal study space with coffee machine, gym. It wasn't cheap but from my experience of moving almost every year, you do get what you paid for. The only comment I had living on the top floor with the balcony, there can be few cleanings to do as birds wonder around and also can be quite hot in summer.”

“A wonderful place - I can't imagine being in Bath again and not staying here. It's clean, beautiful, and the service is top-notch, unmatched anywhere else. I had a lot of heavy luggage with me, and the staff helped me to deal with it. Plus, there's a beautiful common area that helps you meet some fantastic people!”

    Towed Town Camping

    ★★★☆☆ 3.8

“This place is perfect for a different experience. Very niche idea to have caravans indoors, but it was fantastic. We went in the heat but it was not too warm and the facilities were very clean. The only issue was the location as our car had been broken in to during the night, but we were told that this had never happened in the six years they had been open, so do not let this discourage you from staying. Also, the manager was very helpful and understanding of our situation and allowed us to stay for a bit longer than 11am as we sorted out the issue. Overall, a very lovely place to stay, especially considering the price. 10/10”

    YMCA Bath

“For the price that I’ve paid, it is worth of money! Kind of Gen Z vibes. Location-wise it is 15-20 mins walk from the train station, and situated at the center of Bath. Breakfast is provided, good enough for me. They charge for the towel, 2.5£ and luggage storage 2£ per bag, but I dont find it an issue as the room price is considered affordable already. The service and staffs are friendly. Love the ambience of the place. I would consider it again if I ever come back to Bath.”

“We walked down to here for our meal the first night we stayed at Basecamp. The firepit was going with lots around it doing smores. There were tons of tables and the place as super clean and the staff really helpful and friendly. The pizza was really nice and my children loved them and my pulled pork fries were very flavourful and filling. The general atmosphere here is nice and they have live music also at times. Very much worth the visit.”
