“Absolutely outstanding creative take on East African food in a great atmospheric central Bristol venue. So many enticing dishes on the breakfast and lunch menu. It was hard to choose but the Hillib cinnamon + black lime brisket, bis bas, fresh cheese, pickles + pitched egg on sourdough will be hard to beat when I come back. It was bursting with warm spice and zesty flavours. Chefs kiss!”

“During our 2 week stay in Bath we visited Rob at Comins Tea multiple times. Not knowing much about tea, we appreciated all of the information shared with us, the tea recommendations and beautiful preparations. All the care that goes into brewing the different kinds of teas made us want to learn more and appreciate tea in new ways. The cake and scones we had was delicious as well. Highly recommend!”

“Best falafels i've had in the UK! Super crispy exterior, aromatic and fluffy inside and all their other dishes are always bursting with flavour and freshness! We were on on our way to Wales from London and stopped just to get our hands on some of their falafels. We arrived 10 mins before closing time and the owner had a bag of hot falafels on standby that he gave away without even charging us. We parked close by to stuff our faces and he reappeared with cups of tahini sauce for us. Definitely worth the visit for the great food and amazing people!”

“Since having my daughter I've been here quite regularly for the baby/kids activities and we also go the mums meet up which is on every Tuesday. My daughter is a huge fan of the outdoor toys and the indoor climbing frame. The food and drink is always really nice and served with a friendly smile. It can sometimes be very busy and loud, but I'm glad I found it none the less!”

The standard breakfast was under a tenner which is a bonus! Also had a biscoff cookie pie - lovely balance of flavours (some can just be pure sugar, this actually had flavour).
