“I popped in today for a quick take-away and was tempted by the Butternut Squash Soup which arrived quickly in a large lidded cup with some delicious looking bread presented in a nice box complete with a wooden knife and spoon. I then drove the short distance to the Chew Magna Lakes and sat in the Sun overlooking the water and thoroughly enjoyed My meal. The Cafe itself is warm and friendly and obviously a favourite spot for friends to meet up. The Staff are very nice and seem happy in Their work. Very glad to recommend.”

“So I've been getting lunch here many times on a Saturday but today was different as Ive recently found out I'm celioac so I'm trying to navigate round different cafes and this definitely gets big win from me the person at the service was so helpful and so understanding and found out ways to help they did say that it was a gluten heavy kitchen but I did find somethings I could eat. “The perfect venue for a 40th birthday, the Library felt as special as the staff made us feel throughout. Food was amazing and of course the cocktails and range of local beers top notch. We’ve popped by a few times for drinks or food, which always feels like a treat date night. Highly recommend.”

The backroom staff Rory, Emma and Tony all came in to check up on me throughout my meal and stay, just ensure it was to my liking. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. The cafe also has a great selection of delicious sweet and savoury treats. “Lovely place in nice surroundings in the Park. A few niggles nothing too bad. Food is excellent. Young staff members don’t try to hard to look for you so stay alert lol. You order food and drink outside the cafe so bag a table first. All in all a little oasis from the high street.”

“Lovely friendly staff, we went to put flowers in the garden of remembrance for our grandad. Such an interesting place to walk around, the groundsman was very helpful & Chatty. Cafe was clean, well priced and scrumpy cakes. Lots of history in the room below the cafe.”

“A little gem in front of college green serving an excellent coffee. The coffee here tastes different and refreshing. It's a small independent outlet run by lovely welcoming people. They also have excellent food options with snacks and lunches including a full vegan menu. The interior is beautiful and done tastefully, there is bigger space downstairs which can accommodate more people. Do visit this place to have an excellent coffee when you are in the heart of the city and in middle of all the action, it's quite a refreshing break.”
