“We send both of our children to Wycliffe College. Our daughter is currently in the Upper Sixth and our son is in Year 10. We sought out the school because we wanted somewhere that would suit both our children – one is very academic, the other is much less so. Sending our children to this school was probably the best decision we have made as parents. Both are thriving in their own particular way. The small class sizes help them hugely, and the pastoral support they receive is exceptional. Communication between the school and parents is excellent. There is a very strong sense from all the staff there, teachers and others, that our children matter a great deal to them – their academic performance, their physical and mental well being, their growth and development into well rounded adults. Our daughter is passionate about art and history and has been nurtured and challenged by a fabulous and inspiring team of teachers, who push her to achieve all she is capable of. My son loves all the sport on offer and the opportunities presented to him. He receives so much encouragement by all his teachers who have focused on bringing all his strengths to the fore. In short we really don’t feel we could have found a better school than Wycliffe to nurture and teach our children through these critical years of their lives.”

“We couldn't recommend this nursery more. Our eldest child is now in the pre-school room having attended since he was 12 months and our youngest also recently started in the baby room when she turned one. We have enjoyed watching them both flourish under the care of all of the staff at all levels and stages of their nursery journey. They know each child so well and take care to listen to both the children and the parents. The variety of activities, experiences and day trips is excellent and they are constantly working to improve indoor and outdoor facilities. They also offer a farm school experience for over 3s at their sister nursery which our son loves. The menu is excellent. The leadership and communication is very strong.”

“Our daughter has been at Manor House Nursery for over 2 years now. Throughout her time their she has always come home happy having had lots of fun during the day. She always speaks fondly of the teachers and has made many friends who she often refers to, a number of whom will be going to primary school together. Char is the rock of the nursery and I have absolute confidence in her and everything the staff do for our daughter. We selected Manor House because of it's spacious rooms, huge outdoor space and friendly staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Manor House to all of my friends, indeed I have done already!! Manor House, like a lot of nurseries have been affected by the Pandemic in losing staff to other forms of employment, however Manor House have always taken action to continuously improve and listen to the parents and the needs of the children. “I cannot speak highly enough of St Margaret’s. The commitment of the staff, teachers and headmistress, to get the best out of each and every child is second to none. My son receives a fantastic all round education in an environment built around respect, hard work and enjoyment. The sports department excels at introducing the children to competitive team sports and organises a comprehensive fixture list each term to back it up. Pastoral care is perfect, and the communication between parents and teachers is very open. No problem was ever left unresolved. Music and performance builds self confidence in every child and all are encouraged to take part. It’s always amazing to see less confident children getting involved (often revealing incredible hidden talents). Positivity, maturity and all round confidence are the three things I have seen develop in my son – I can’t ask for more than that.”

“Lovely school with great opportunities and facilities for pupils. The food is great with a selection of hot or cold meals and staff support pupils through their learning. An interesting history behind the school used during WWII. Some buildings could do with refurbishing but I've heard plans for that to happen.”
