βAmazing shop with a huge variety of clothes and brands to choose from! The shop has a great atmosphere and staff always polite and ready to help! I have taken in many bags of my clothes to Alfredβs to sell. These are items I have worn and are in good condition. I have always been amazed about the monies I have received. So much less hassle than eBay and no PayPal nonsense. I have got just as much money as well, so win win and 5 stars from me!!!β
βThis little theatre is an excellent local facility recently really smartened up. The committee and actors work hard to make a good evening out.β
βThank you Lucy for doing my finger and toenails and for your friendly and professional approach. I would recommend Lucy for your treatments.β
βExcellent B&B! Katherine was so lovely and accommodating. The room was very clean and had many thoughtful amenties including an electric kettle and tea. Breakfast is tasty with a wonderful variety of options to choose from. The B&B is a short walk from the train station and city center. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Bath.β
βThe staff here are always so lovely and chatty, theyβre more than happy to help you out with anything youβre unsure about. I always look forward to coming here for any products I need :) On top of that everything is very fairly priced!β

βGreat pub. Some lovely people, Natch and Blackthorn on draught. What more can you ask for.β
βHark! I visited a charming cafe this morn, And there I found a meal of great adorn, A beef brisket sandwich of divine taste, Whose praises I must sing with joyful haste. The bread, so fresh, was soft as summer clouds, And held within it beef, cooked to astound, Tender and juicy, with a flavor so bold, It left my taste buds trembling, as if on hold. The spices, oh the spices, were a delight, A harmonious blend, that seemed just right, Each bite, a symphony, of savory notes, Played upon my palate, as if by rote. The cafe, itself, was a true treasure, A haven of peace, from worldly pressure, With decor that evoked a bygone era, And service, warm and friendly, with no error. So, if you seek a meal to make you sing, Go to this cafe, without any fling, Order the brisket, and take your time, For a meal like this, is worth every dime.β
βShannise was really helpful and took time to show me around the gym and pool areas prior to booking my membership. Shannise was professional and took the time to take me through the flexible offer of the gym and pool and also the classes as well. Very easy process and also provided a blue light discount on membership as well.β
βI love this place. There, I said it. I love this place. The Kensington in Cotham is the sort of pub you rarely find outside London these days β and even in London they're being squeezed out faster than a pint in Soho on a Friday. It's the holy grail of neighbourhood spots: a proper local with style, substance, a deftly pulled Guinness, and a wine list that doesnβt look like it was printed in the back of a Ladbrokes. Thereβs a guest beer on. Always a good sign. Not ten, not twelve, not the sort of barrage of IPA nonsense where every pint tastes like someone cleaned their bong in it β just one well-kept, rotating cask that makes you feel like youβre in on a secret. And the restaurant out back is actually, properly good. Thoughtfully done. Confident. The kind of thing that makes you lean over to your wife and say, mouth full of something beefy and delicious, βGod, maybe we should move round here.β Itβs that sort of place. Itβs got that magic. You feel it in your bones β and your belly. But hereβs the rub. And thereβs always a rub. We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday night β peak time, peak mood, peak appetite. I was ready. I was primed. I had a Guinness in hand and the dreamy glow of a menu that does exactly what I want menus to do: stay the hell out of the way. Three starters. Three mains. Three sharer/chop-type things. Boom. Thatβs it. Thatβs how it should be. None of this laminated, twenty-page novella of mediocrity. I always say β and I do, with dreary repetition β that if a menu needs more than one page, youβre about to be served reheated despair in a ramekin. So when I saw this short, punchy, confident little line-up, I nearly kissed the waiter. But then came the heartbreak. Theyβd run out. Not just out of one thing, which you can sort of forgive if itβs an obscure cut of something foraged off a Welsh hill at dawn. But loads of things. A worrying amount of things. Unless I was going veggie (me? More likely to take up ballet) or my wife could be convinced to take on a hulking great Chateaubriand with me (less likely still β she once winced at a cΓ΄te de boeuf for two like Iβd suggested we hunt it ourselves), we were left withβ¦ cod or onglet. Now I like cod. And I adore onglet. But thatβs not the point, is it? You canβt go into a restaurant with nine items on the menu and so many of them off. Not at 8pm. Not on a Saturday. Thatβs like showing up to the cinema and being told the projectorβs knackered but they can act out the ending for you. It kills the momentum. It breaks the spell. Because the spell, here, is that The Kensington is quietly brilliant. That itβs run by people who care. That itβs the sort of place that gets it. And it still might be! Iβm going to give it the benefit of the doubt, because Iβm not a monster. And because I want this place to succeed. I want it to be great. I want it to be the kind of pub where you book dinner on a Tuesday and stumble out four hours later with half the roomβs birthdays in your phone. But theyβve got to sort that kitchen out. If youβre going to do the lean menu thing β and yes please, do it β then youβve got to back it up with stock, planning, and the ability to make it to closing without shrugging at guests like itβs a village fΓͺte and the cake standβs been pillaged. That said, Iβll be back. Probably next week. Because I do love it. The Guinness is cold. The crowd is warm. And I can still taste that promise β the one that makes you Google house prices on the walk home.β
βThe sandwiches are fabulous! We stopped for a nosh on Friday, my husband grabbed a mortadella and mozzarella sandwich along with cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun was lovely but the sandwich was the best I've had since a trip to Italy two years ago. I like it so much, I had to have a second one before our weekend was over!β
βI tried many croissants in Europe and UK, and trust me they have one of the best Almond Croissants. Definitely worth a try, my mouth waters everytime I think of their Croissant.β
βExcellent location, easy 10 min stroll into town. The addition of parking was a welcome bonus, along with a late check out of 11am. We were in room 5, lovely spacious room, view over the green towards the Cathedral. We didn't hear any night traffic or noise on our stay so that was nice. Little kitchen area, with Kettle and Fridge. My only 'complaint' would be there wasn't enough tea bags for us, only 2 'normal' tea, rest were herbal but that's a big deal really. Would definitely stay here again if the occasion arose.β
βHosts were extremely warm, welcoming and friendly. Cooked breakfast was second to none, with high quality ingredients. Rooms were clean, spacious, warm. Beds were very comfy. Location only 5 minutes by car to Keynsham train station. Plenty of car parking on site. Relatively quiet, despite being on a main road.β
βSian and the team hosted my parents 50th wedding anniversary for 24 family and friends. The food and service was excellent and enjoyed by all. Thank you!β
βI organised a reunion at very short notice, contacted the staff at the Centurion to see if they could host us and they were outstanding. They did everything to make it work for us and as a result, it was a great success. The entire staff was incredible, especially Jenny who went above and beyond. Weβre going back in the summer to do it all again.β
βGreat shop for beer. Stock Arbor at a good price and lately have New Bristol Brewery as well. Nice staff too, keep up the good work!β
