βOmg the amount of food is massive, Tastes great,,,β
βI'm shocked that I've not reviewed the ring of bells. After moving fairly locally, we were recommended to try their food. From the first visit we were made to feel like family, and have been regulars ever since. The food is outstanding: a surprising mix of traditional British and Asian. The menu regularly is changing and never short of something interesting and delicious. We have two young kids who are usually relatively well behaved when eating out, but definitely have their moments. The team always make us feel welcome and know how to engage little ones. We love finishing a satisfying meal with a couple of games of skittles. I don't think there are many places. I'd rather be on a chilly winter's night than near the blazing fire at the ring of bells. Or a summer's afternoon outside with a cold drink watching village life go by.β
βMy dentist is super kind and sweet and explains everything thoroughly in a way I understand. She's also great with my little boy.β
βAs a 17 year old, this was the first trip I had unsupervised by parents and oh my was it one to remember. It was such a lovely place and the owner Tim was so lovely, friendly and generous. It was the best camping trip that Iβve ever hadβ
βWOW Ill start with the good and then the bad. Firstly the roasties were spot on, they had flavour and are part of the most important trio of a roast along with the gravy and meat which were AMAZING. Veg was fresh and all together honestly was amazing even being delivered! The bad More gravy it needs way more gravy!β
βBeautiful place to visit and free entry, surrounding grounds are a lovely walk, the castle itself was very interesting and was a real mix of history. Thoroughly recommend for an afternoon out, there is a cafe and facilities on site, along with a small gift shop.β
βLovely campsite. Just the basics, but done really well. Site was immaculate and beautifully done, with short grass around the edge for camping and long grass in the middle of the field for wildlife. Saw various birds of prey, including a barn owl. Lovely walks with steam trains, great views, rivers and plenty of pubs along route. Already looking forward to visiting again!β

βBeautiful historic bridge with lovely views of the river and weir. Great spot for photos and a peaceful walk and a must-see in Bath! Beautiful city full of history and charm. Stunning architecture, relaxing Roman Baths, and lovely riverside walks. Bath is always a joy to explore!β
βAs two Scots who wanted to find a cosy pub we were really pleased with the green tree. We were made welcome and had some great conversations and laughs. A genuine bunch of down to earth regulars! We felt like if we ever moved to Bath we could easily make friends in this pub. Thanks for the laughs!!β
βLunch for four. All of our meals were really good quality and generous. Nice selection of fresh vegetables. Friendly service. Varied menu. Could not fault. Will return.β
βFood so good Iβm not sure they havenβt flown it in daily. The kimchi and the pickled mushrooms on the banchan genuinely made me tear up a bit. Weβre so lucky to have this place. Honestly, Iβm a little upset my favourite spot is blowing up.. but really, the whole team deserves it. Thank you for so many incredible meals β₯οΈβ
βGreat local cafe. Good coffee, wide range of cakes. Good light meal range. Seating inside and uncovered seating outside in fairly quiet side road.β
βFriendly staff and a fantastic array of quality beer, cider and lagers. Also good original music.β
βStopped in this morning for a coffee and enjoyed the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Staff welcomed me in and made sure to take details for Track and Trace straight away. I can highly recommend this place for some delicious coffee!β
βExcellent place to have breakfast. Place was clean and food was lovely. Friendly staffs.β
βBeing somewhat new to the area, Iβve been on the hunt for a nice spot to have a veggie breakfast. There isnβt a huge amount of information online so I wasnβt sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The young girls on the front of house are always cheerful and happy to greet you, as well as thank you when you leave. In terms of breakfast quality, coffee cup is definitely one of the best (if not the best!) in the local area. The same can be said for value for money. Β£6.49 for a veggie breakfast, with a cup of tea/coffee - what an absolute bargain that trumps the other cafes around here. Usually us vegetarians donβt get a lot of choice, but I was so pleased with the variety of choices I had. There is a choice of 2 types of veggie sausage which I donβt really see, ever. Choice of tomatoes, beans, fried bread and toast as well. The veggie breakfast doesnβt come with hashbrowns, but they arenβt missed as the breakfast portion is already quite large. They can be added for 90p if desired. Beans are very good quality, not the watery type many establishments have and the toast is thick and well buttered. Lastly, strong teabags! You wonβt find a weak cuppa here. Overall I canβt recommend enough, having tried other cafes local to this one, I only come to coffee cup now!β
βI've had my hair cut there twice now, and both times i was incredibly impressed with the service and the cut. Very impressed and prices seem very reasonable.β
βStayed on a Monday night in September. Beautiful location right next to River Usk, with lovely views from the restaurant. We both agreed that the hotel and our room were both very nicely presented and tastefully furnished, and that the Staff were warm and professional. The food was fantastic, some of the best I've tasted. A really lovely one night stay, many thanks!β
βLocal pub with decent food at good prices, eat in or takeaway. Friendly localsβ
βStaff were really friendly on arrival checking in and throughout our stay. The location is right in the middle of golf course. We had the breakfast here which is reasonably priced and thereβs a decent menu. It was good. Had one evening meal here as well. Lots of choice and the meals our group had they all enjoyed. Pizza was lovely. Good selection of drinks at the bar. The rooms are nice and clean. Bed is comfortable, was a sofa in our room nice bonus. Has all the amenities you need. It was the perfect location for our stay to explore the nearby area. Loads of parking.β
βCome here quite often and itβs always a lovely vibe. Even when itβs busy, you can tell the staff care about making sure you are comfortable. Garden is spacious (two halves with multiple levels) and amazing in the sun & food is always tasty. Friendly robins in the garden, if youβre lucky to see them land on a nearby table & upstairs is a great place to watch the local pigeons as they love to sit on the mini balconies on the windows β€οΈβ
βGreat music, vibe, and friendly staffβ
βWe didnβt they did brunch here but were very glad we spotted someone eating one when we walked past. Great value and super tasty. Everywhere else on Gloucester Road appeared to be closed so we were rather happy to go hereβ
βI went to OmbrΓ© Hair & Beauty after a family friend recommended Yasamin, and Iβm so glad I did! I had red box dye in my hair and wanted to go for blondish highlights. Yasamin talked me through everything and made sure I was happy every step of the way. I left really happy with how my hair turned out! She really knows her stuff and was super friendly, which made the long process actually enjoyable.β
βButchers Arms has been our regular Thursday night pub for many years. 15+! Always well cared for every week. A drinkers pub that's well worth a visit.β
βJust here for a week or so and managed to catch them in the park. Lovely people and great coffee. Bikkies for your doggie too! Support them when you can as it's great local business.β
