“What a fabulous find!! We were staying in Newport just for one night and were so glad for New Ole! We love tapas and this was excellent! The choices looks so delicious and the welcome was so welcome - we decided to leave it all up to the incredible chef! He did not disappoint!! We were spoilt the whole evening by our gorgeous waitress and enjoyed delicious food and wine. Highly recommend and we hope to be back!”

“The menu is varied with good sized portions especially for Sunday Lunch. A 10% service charge is automatically added to your bill so be aware of this. If you want a cheap meal then this maybe not the place to go, but check their online menu. Tables are well spaced out with plenty of room between them and the chairs we had were very comfortable.”

“The Cross Inn is a hidden gem in Cardiff! Stopped by recently and was really impressed. The pub has a great traditional feel with a modern touch – cosy, clean, and full of character. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere from the get-go. The drinks selection is solid too, with well-kept beers and a good variety behind the bar. Plenty of seating inside and out, and a lovely spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a quiet pint. Definitely one of the better pubs around – will be back soon!”

“Stopped in for a drink, I had the strawberry milkshake which was lovely! The staff were really friendly and service was quick. The milkshake itself was a little on the expensive side but was absolutely gorgeous so worth the extra money if you’re looking for a good milkshake!”

“Attended a free Tai chi evolution class, very well attended with very good instructors, led by Maggie Thomas. The organizations use the clean hall and amenities for social interaction in the community.”

“Beautiful beautiful place, worth a getaway and recoup with nearby places to visit including pubs restaurants supermarkets etc you can drive to and from and a lovely walk along the sea wall. The views are amazing, a great place to relax in the sun and a nice firepit to end the night while star gazing! The hosts were amazing, so friendly and helpful, thank you ! Will definitely come again! ”

“Lovely location with a couple of halls and kitchen place to heat up food for your party. Decent parking space. Couldn't get to see the outdoor areas as I visited at it was dark when I arrived for my party”

“What I really like about this club,is, it is bucking the trend of the old social club. It has a lively itinerary of events and I suspect a good attendance rate. We have been here before for an engagement party. This time, sadly, a wake. What I particularly like, is the way the main hall is separated from, the skittle ally. The pool room again is separated from the bar area. And then there is another room to occupy as well. Add to all of that the lovely staff and a very good price for drinks. This place is onto a winner.”

“Seems like a pretty solid shop to visit (you can't miss it at night, it's blinding!). Has a bunch of stock to choose from. Also has an Evri kiosk which is easy to use.”

“1 of the best lattes i have had in the whole country. Im not sure what coffee beans you have but they are up there with the best of them. Beats Starbucks and Costa on taste of the coffee beans alone. Also cheaper. Well done. Will be back looking forward to my next one.”

“Thumbs up for their pasta. I love it when you can make your own dish, my favorite is simple, pasta and cheese sauce topped with chilli flakes. Or hash brown and cheese sauce with chilli flakes. Warm hearty goodness. They also have a pasta of the month, worth checking out every now and then!”

“Had a curry from Popadoms, and it was incredible! The flavors were rich and perfectly spiced, and everything tasted so fresh. The portion was just right, and the food arrived hot and full of flavor. The service was spot on too—friendly and quick. Honestly, one of the best curries I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to order again!”
