“Motel Nights was the perfect venue for my baby shower. We decorated it with lots of pink balloons, flowers and cake, and the staff (especially April!) were super helpful and accommodating. Everyone loved the cocktails and tunes. Thanks again guys!!”

“The food here was amazing! We all ordered the mixed kebab with rice and salad, portion size was generous, the meat was tender and full of flavour, and the price was very reasonable. It also came with fresh bread and lovely sauces. The staff were very friendly, we ate here on a hot day and they were very accommodating and moved their fans to suit us. Overall a 5 star experience, thank you!”

“I'd been meaning to book Anna-Loka for some time after seeing it on Dirty Vegan and reading the positive reviews about the food there. My partner and I have recently gone vegetarian, so I finally booked us a table for our first vegan experience and it didn't disappoint. We had the sharing platter for our starter and the menanam burger for our main. It was quite simply delicious! The deserts were great too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service very swift. We left the restaurant feeling very content and will definitely be visiting again. Well done, Adam, you've created a fantastic little restaurant here!”

“Have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Menu changes constantly but never a bad meal. Always choices of exotic meats as well as the staples such as steak and chicken. Staff always friendly and happy to let you know where and what each dish on specials menu consists of. Will happily change choice of sauce if you prefer different to menu.”

There are quite a number of Small / Independent Coffee Houses & Eateries in Cardiff City Centre, But this is One of the Best and as someone has already stated 'A Hidden Gem". “This shop has been here for years. Bought my goldfish from here when I was a little girl. My son wanted a fish tank and fish for his birthday. We made the mistake of buying a tank and filter from Pets at home and had endless problems, and we unfortunately lost two fish along the way. We decided to go to aquatic house and we were given lots of really good advice on the tank size, filter, types of fish, feeding and upkeep etc and since then our aquarium and fish are thriving. All of our healthy fish have come from here as there is a great range to choose from. Absolute game changer going to aquatic house. I won't be going anywhere else! Thank you.”

“Lovely place to visit. It's only a smallish pier easy to walk to end and back. The pier is beautifuly looked after and well maintained, public toilets on the pier were clean and well maintained. “I had a wonderful lunch with my 2 sons at the Cwm Talwg today. I hadn’t booked a table but staff thankfully found a table for us. Lots of choice on the menu so was hard to decide !! From entering to leaving the staff were attentive and super friendly. Our orders taken promptly and food served after a short wait, staff checked twice that our meals were ok. We had no complaints !! They were delicious. I don’t think the Cwm Talwg gets the recognition it deserves which is a shame as the food was lovely. We will definitely be back. I’d recommend trying this place”

“Before the pandemic i used to frequent the dolls house nearly every weekend. Tonight was the first night that I returned, the establishment is under new management and I can honestly say that I am more than impressed.... The warmest welcome you could ever wish for... from the management and the accommodation that we received for my disabled friend surpassed anything I've ever experienced. Reasonably priced drinks and fantastic entertainment was the order of the night. Great atmosphere and a thoroughly enjoyable night. Thank you to you and all of your staff.”

“Decided to come here for a bite before driving back home. Had a calamari to start with, well presented. A medium rare stake to follow and a tiramisu to finish. The calamari was good and tasty, just a bit on the thinner side. The stake was cooked medium rare as requested, seasoned just right and the sauce that it came with made it even better. The tiramisu was just great, just how a tiramisu should be. Great service from the staff as well. Having dinner with a good view and some live music from around makes it a really nice place to be at. Finishing off with a shot of limoncello is a nice touch! Definitely will be back when I visit Cardiff again!!!”

“Me and my friend ate here tonight... I had the mixed grill. The food is so fresh and tasty and the guys there are really polite! Great service and amazing food, what more can you wish for!? Sadly we're not from the area and only working down here for two weeks. When you work away a lot you relay on Google for good reviews, which we use a lot. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!!
