“Bedroom perfectly comfortable and clean but could do with attention to dated window frames that allowed a little cold in. However, along with a standard radiator a freestanding electric one is supplied. Communal areas of reception, the bar and dining hall are all very tasteful. The greatest asset of this hotel is the staff who are so obliging and friendly. A super breakfast with friendly staff sets each day off perfectly. The evening meals are of a very high standard all served with a pleasant rapport. We may have arrived curtesy of a bargain coach holliday but were treated like we arrived in a Bentley.”

“Been here a few times when visiting family. Overall swimming with the kids is great fun. Never used any of the gym facilities so can't comment there. It's a great place to book kids birthday parties as they have a bouncy castle for the kids. Best to book a couple of months in advance as it's particularly popular. Only one gripe I have is their tea at reception tastes awful - tasted like a mix of coffee and tea so maybe avoid that. But overall it's a great place for swimming and kids birthday parties”

“Honestly the best Chinese takeaway I have had in years! I ordered a variety of meat dishes (pork, lamb, duck and beef) and they were all cooked to perfection. Generous quantities of meat in every dish, in large portions. I am also very thankful for the freebies given. I have tried several Chinese restaurants in Weston super mare and this is the best one by miles. Being able to pay cash on Just Eat was an added bonus.
