“Great nursery! My little one has been coming here since he was 11 months. It took him a while to settle as it was long days without me but I always felt so reassured because of how caring they were with him. Emma, Leah and Brooke were always so honest if he had a bad day and I could see he was cuddly with them and that they'd helped him through it. He is now so happy when we arrive, claps when we pull up and is excited to press the intercom himself. His confidence has grown and he is picking up stuff so quickly since being there. I know he definitely keeps them on their toes as he is verrry busy, but they're so good with him. Big thanks to all the staff for being so great ✨.”

“I booked the Fairwater Pub's function room for my sisters birthday recently and it was amazing. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I started setting up to the very end of the night. The communication between myself and the Landlady and Landlord was smooth and very clear. They offered me tables and let me lay out the room how I felt best. They let us have a DJ there and our own catering. The price for the room was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. I would defiantly go back and I can't thank them enough! Happy smiles all around”

This was my second visit and it has become a cherished tradition for me to return whenever I find myself in this vibrant city. They only offering take-away services, there were four stools available but there were more seatings in upstairs. Authentic Thai food by Thai chef continues to impress with its delectable offerings, generous portions and reasonable prices. We had Thai Red curry with Chicken, Thai Green Curry with Chicken and Pad Thai with Prawns, the Thai flavours served here never fail to impress. The Thai Red curry was very hot and delicious. Friendly staff, the entire process from placing order to collecting it was remarkable swift.”

“9.30am session with my younger son was amazing! Our first time coming here and it was one of the best visits I've ever experienced in a soft play establishment setting. I love how they have there own app to place food and drinks to help reduce queuing and waiting times. I had my food order within 10 minutes and the portions of the small chicken nuggets and chips served with beans for my little boy was very fulfilling. Friendly staff on arrival and seeing staff work very hard and running about made me feel like I'd return again soon there was a party as well which I've never booked for my little boy but upon asking a member of staff information for this she was really pleasant and helped me book a party for August time.”

When we were taken to the table by the host Chris, he introduced our sever as Mitch who was really personable and positive. It is unusual to have professional and enthusiastic service at restaurants nowadays, so Mitch was a refreshing change! The chefs serving the carvery were great as well, the food of exceptionally high quality with vegetables not being stewed or cooked to death, but actually fresh and inviting. If you like a carvery, this is superb and at less than £20 per head is great value.”

“We had a fantastic two night stay at Miskin Manor. I cannot comprehend the people who complain about the building being old. That is why one goes to these places, because they have so much history and character. I do not know if some rooms in other parts of the hotel are in a bad state, but our room was magnificent. I absolutely loved the views and the old furniture. I could almost imagine being the lord of the manor. The buffet breakfast was great and had more options than many places I have stayed in. The evening meals were also very tasty and the staff were always trying their absolute best. The hotel is also well located right next to the M4 to give easy access to Cardiff and the surrounding areas. I would definitely go back to Miskin Manor.”
