“Barry was a great host, accepted us last minute when our plans changed and we didn't have anywhere to stay. Rooms were OK for a guest house, didn't need anything more. A nice guest lounge with comfortable sofas and books, great breakfast ordering system that we unfortunately couldn't try. If I'm ever back in Newport, I'll be staying here again.”

“We had such a lovely experience with our taxi driver, Garth Williams (Licensed Cab 690). My mum uses a wheelchair and normally booking a taxi can feel like a nerve-wracking experience, never knowing if it will actually be suitable or if we’ll be left struggling. But Garth was fantastic from the moment he arrived. He didn’t just wait in the car; he came straight to the door, helped us get the wheelchair out, and made sure my mum was comfortable and safe. On the journey, he was so kind and friendly, and we had a lovely chat that really put the world to rights. It made what could have been a stressful hospital trip so much easier.
