“Absolutely delicious. Starters were very good, but the 2 pasta dishes we had blew us away, incredible flavours. Can't wait to go back. We had walk in, so only had a short time slot, really want to try the desserts.”

“I’ve visited this Svago Italian once and I absolutely love the food at this place. I had the pasta with shaved nuts. I wasn’t too sure about them when I ordered them, however when I tasted them they were amazing. The service is also good, and the place is nice and cosy. The prices are fairly similar to other Italian restaurants and quantity is also good. I’m looking forward to my next visit here and it is one my favorite Cardiff Restaurants.”

“Went to Yakitori1 for lunch before Book of Mormon at the Millennium Centre. Really excellent food and service. We had the Robata Nigiri Surf n Turf, the flamed Nigiri special, Dragon roll and Kaarage chicken noodles. All were delicious although we both felt the Surf n Turf Nigiri was nice but didn't warrant the price. Overall paid £90 for the food and two beers. Would definitely go here again when on Cardiff Bay”

“Just had a meal with my family, i can say the food is lovely. The place is lovely too as you cannot see it from outside. Once you enter and look back of the place. Staff's are friendly too. Menus are more traditional than what we find on any other Turkish restaurants. The portion size is good too. I would recommend to try this place.”

“A Unique and Fun Team Activity – Pizza Making at Its Best! I was tasked with organising a staff social for a small group from our Cardiff-based team, and wanted to do something a bit different—ideally something food-related and hands-on. As a pizza lover, I hoped to find a local pizza-making class, but came up short… until I spotted that The Real Italian Pizza Co offered children’s pizza parties. We reached out, and they were happy to adapt the experience for adults. So we booked it—and we’re so glad we did. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Hester and Shesna, who greeted us with generous antipasto platters and offered drinks as we settled in. Once we were all fed and ready, Chef Kris took over and the real fun began. He gave us a quick intro to the pizza dough process, explaining the ingredients and techniques involved, and then we got hands-on with some dough kneading. It was a relaxed, friendly session—perfect for a group with mixed levels of culinary confidence! We moved on to shaping pizzas using pre-proven dough, choosing from a wide selection of fresh toppings. Kris talked us through the stretching technique and even joked that one of our team had shaped theirs so well, they might be hired on the spot. Finally, we brought our pizzas to the oven where Kris gave each one a final flourish before expertly firing them. Within minutes, we had our creations back, piping hot and delicious—ready to eat and compare (with plenty of banter, of course). Overall, it was a brilliant afternoon—something a bit different, easy to organise, and very well hosted. We’d definitely recommend it as a fun, food-focused alternative to the usual team lunch.”

“Cannot fault doughlicious, superb service, all the staff are fantastic, just eat and their driver screwed up my order by delivering me another person's/restaurant meal and wouldn't help fix it. The lovely ladies at doughlicious dealt with just eat for me, kept me updated and then ended up delivering it themselves at their own expense when just eat wouldn't help any further. Their own delivery driver was fantastic and very polite. they literally couldn't go out of their way far enough and everyone was accommodating. They could have just left me to dispute it through just eat as it wasn't their problem. food was lush too 100/10”
