βLovely staff, we got 3 kitties we taken there and they are all well cared for... they are happy healthy furbabies...β
βOn arriving at valley vets with our two 2 year old Labradors, both were booked in and see promptly after being spoiled by all staff there. Both Jet (black lab) and Amber (sandy lab) looked like they felt comfortable with the whole visit. The vet and receptionist interacted with both dogs making them feel safe and welcome. Great experience for us too. Dogs left with clean bill of health ready to enjoy life. Thank you Valley Vets.β
βFurikin PawWalker went to the vet for his first year booster. Apart from wowing the staff, he had great experience. He particularly liked the window near the scales. Thanks to all the staff for making his visit calm and gentle.β
βIβve been using St David vets for over 20 years and my pets have always received excellent care from the vets and nurses. The admin staff are excellent too!β
βJust been to this vets for the first time as we are on holiday in Watchet and my sproker, Barney, had become unwell. They were amazing!! 5 star service. When I called at lunchtime, they were full but within minutes the lovely lady on reception called me back after they had a cancellation. I saw Paul, the vet, he was amazing with my reactive dog, very knowledgeable and calm and kind and efficiently treated him. I can't thank them enough.β
βI shopped here for the first day today.. what an amazing bunch of staff working there! They really took the time to help me find things and when they didnβt stock what I need they recommend another local shop! Superb service from Ben Who asked how I was and showed me his new haircut! Lisa is awesome too! I wonβt shop at these big Supermarkets anymore! These guys treat you like an individual and not just a transaction at the till!β
βAll the staff here are so friendly and helpful, weβre always put at ease and feel listened to. The reception staff always seem pleased to see us and are kind and warm with us even when our dogs are behaving less than perfectly. The clinician I have seen has always taken the time to listen to concerns and explain things clearly as well as offer advice.β
βVisited Shepherds to have my 18+ cat euthanized. Was directed to sideroom as I was upset.Cerys, the nurse took details and she deserves 15 out of 10 for her empathy, reassurance and kindness.Lowri the vet was lovely too and administered drug and Milly passed peacefully and I held her and said my goodbyes.β
βMy dog broke his leg a couple of months ago & the whole team from the very start have been amazing. A big thank you to the Nurses, Vets & Receptionists for their care. Wouldn't go anywhere else!β
βI visited Fairwater practice this morning concerned about my 12 year old dogs teeth and whether or not he would need a scale and Polish under general anesthetic. The vet explained that at 12 years old my dog doesn't need any procedures that aren't necessary.Once he checked my dogs teeth and gums he said the best thing to do would be to carry on brushing daily as we are doing at the moment , they weren't that bad , I appreciated his honesty as it saved my dog and us a lot of stress and money .β
βBrought our 2 new puppies here for their second vaccinations. All staff we encountered were so lovely, the vet was great with them, and the appointment went without a hitch. Not only is it close to where we live, so that is great, they do a healthcare plan too. 10/10 recommend to everyone. :-)β
βHad a good experience here as we brought our cat here. Pleased that the vet didn't try to fleece us for all our money, even saying that she won't recommend one of their products as it can be found cheaper elsewhere. That's appreciated as vets are known for trying to get every penny.β
βBest vets ever treated both of my dogs there and the staff care about them. Fair pricingβ
βUnfortunately we had our border collie called buster put to sleep this morning and everyone at the vets including emma was amazing and can't thank you enough for everything you done for us and emma should be proud of herself and if any vets need a course on how to deal with things like this they or to watch emma in action she was more professional than professional can be that's all I am going to say is emma what a vet u are what a person u are and last word you and the team are perfectβ
βAmanda has looked after Autumn for us on a couple of occasions and I know that she is having the best time and lots of fun with their dog and also the dogs which Amanda walks regularly. I receive lots of videos and photos and reports of how she is doing and I can totally relax being away knowing Autumn is having the best time! When she comes back home, she is shattered and I think she is probably really missing Coco and the fun of their homeβ. Highly recommend!β

βBoth of my dogs were seen by Ellie, who is a caring, kind and professional vet. She put my dogs at ease and explained everything to me. I would without doubt recommend this practice based on my experience today.β
βI find everyone to be very professional, friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and confident in the treatment you receive. I cannot speak highly enough about this practice and recommend anyone who wants calm, focused osteopathic treatment to visit, whether it's for a one off visit or continous treatment.β
βThese amazing dedicated vets and vet nurses saved our beautiful ragdoll cat their care is first class...communication was excellent we shall be forever grateful that they saved sassy who is our elderly mums best friend and companion. A simple spaying went horribly wrong but their care and expertise not forgetting the round the clock care saved her. A special massive thank you to Nia the fantastic vet we will never forget you...your kindness and support means so much. The hospital is well equipped modern and spotlessly clean front of house receptionist are welcoming Thank you allβ
βOmg Iβve just had the most fantastic experience here, looked after by Tracy and Kathy. I needed to be seen by a dentist prior to open heart surgery later this week. I am a 68 male who is petrified of dentists. I need a tooth out and you can imagine my anxiety levels were through the roof, the experience took two hours thatβs how gentle they were, we go on about the NHS but I can tell you, itβs not the front line staff itβs the organisation that is broken. Tracy and Kathy you are a credit to your profession, ps Iβm the guy going to Portugal I wish you both could come with me. Chris.β
βFantastic service at Sully Pharmacy from Holly, really helpful, brilliant Pharmacistβ
βI recently started coming to this pharmacy after being made to wait two weeks for the one on Crwys Road to fill a prescription for sertraline, I eventually gave up and asked for it to be returned to me to go elsewhere. Woodville pharmacy were able to fill my prescription the same day, and in under 5 minutes. The staff were super friendly, polite and efficient. Highly recommend this pharmacy over other far less professional ones in the area.β
βJust had travel vaccines that I couldn't get booked in with local GP. I highly recommend. Pharmacist was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional, and has also traveled extensively so that helps! Very helpful and friendly, thank youβ
βI actually choose to travel to this pharmacy rather than use one of the chain pharmacies in the Cardiff area, entirely because the longer journey is worth it - the service here is so good, highly efficient and speedy. No waiting around to be acknowledged, no absurdly inflated waiting times. Just professionalism and excellent service. Chain pharmacies take note!β
βVery helpful staff, no messing around with prescriptions.β
βI have changed to this pharmacy recently , but find they go above and beyond to help you and get medication you need if your struggling. Would definitely recommend to anyoneβ
βRecently took my son to see the pharmacist under the Sore Throat Test & Treat service She was amazing- a real credit to the pharmacy. Very professional and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to use this pharmacy again.β
βLovely experience, our regular cattery was fully booked and we decided to try this one. Mandy was amazing and really knowledgeable, our two cats settled verry well. Will definitely use againβ
βTessa was diagnosed diabetic 29 months ago, the vets and all the staff have been brilliant throughout, my Tessa went over the rainbow bridge yesterday, the vets and staff showed kindness throughout and the whole process was very dignified, I can't thank them enough for way they carried out the procedure when my Tessa passed, thank you from the bottom of my heart xxβ
βIβve been in weekly for the last 8 weeks with my 3 cats with various issues. Iβve stopped going to Valley since their treatment of staff who went on strike & Iβm happy with the care Iβve received from Andrea & her team. Whilst the location & nature of the business (owned by big 6) doesnβt lend itself to the same care/service as an independent, Iβve been very satisfied with the treatment received. The staff have been really patient with my and my anxious communications (I appreciate the WhatsApp service) about my terminally ill little cat. Theyβve spent time helping me determine the right course of action for my girl & Iβve never felt pushed into anything, nor made to feel silly for the questions Iβve asked or choice Iβve made. Both dental treatments my cats had recently came in comfortably under the quote. And the practice is always happy to provide written prescriptions so I can find flea treatment at a price that suits my budget. I do hate the location though - both on the industrial site and the mezzanine above the store. Itβs loud, doesnβt feel very secure and isnβt great when youβre going through something difficult. Iβm dreading when the time comes for me to say goodbye to my girl and how exposed itβll feel upstairs and walking through the store with my tears & grief. But what can be done? Thereβs not a great deal of choices in practices really. And no independent ones locally. So Iβm happy with a Vet-led franchise with an owner who seems to care about her practice & the animals she sees.β
