“It's a nice country hotel with a restaurant and bar area. I spent 3 days here which I enjoyed. My room was nice and clean apart from the odd squeaky floorboard. I did go there on a pretty hot week and the room was hot as I had no AC in my room. The breakfast and dinner food were nice and the staff on-site were friendly and helpful too. There's a car park at the rear of the hotel and you need to register your car at reception on a tablet/ipad.”

“Right little gem ! From the outside the sign is old so you know they do good food and been around for a while Overwhelmed with the kitchen size and menu, you want it. These guys gots it! Friendly staff and great tasting burgers We had these at work today. I was starving… I had the chicken. Perfect spice. Great tasting fresh chips and a decent price. Wish I had the kong burger looked very nice. See the last pic. Could have easily had all three. They are best burgers I’ve had for a while. Need to get this again. Great work guys. We have never had such a friendly hotel for our conference. The facilities were wonderful.”

“We've been going to The Unicorn for quite a long time, which proves how much we like it. There's good seating areas in a choice of rooms and if you want a meal the food is well cooked and presented. There is also a good choice of beer, wine and spirits. In the better weather the seating area outside is pleasant. There's also a separate building in the pub grounds called The Wacky Warehouse. It's run by The Unicorn and has enjoyable playthings inside for young kids. So there's good enjoyment to be had for everyone at The Unicorn. Give it a try!”

“Excellent service from very helpful staff. Really nice room (a refurbished one) and public areas. The car park couldn't handle a full hotel but that was exacerbated by a few vans taking up more than one space. Don't arrive after 9pm and expecting a space! Handy for the NEC and cheaper than the on site hotels there.”

“Girls are fit and dance prices are reasonable! 60 quid for 10 minutes is standard in most clubs I've been too. VIP rooms are always a good laugh when you've got some more to spend.”

“Stopped in on the way through Banbury. We were dubious after seeing several negative reviews on here, but I've got to say we were pleasantly surprised. No the food isn't Michelin star quality, but its a well priced feed up. All the staff were more than pleasant and we were extremely impressed by our waitress Lilly. She was extremely polite, not only to us but to the other customers around us. Thank you. We will be returning”

“I treated my family to breakfast here this morning (4 adults, 3 children). On arrival we were shown to our table, and the requested high chair was already in position. The food was excellent. The cooked breakfast was well presented on our plates, and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. All the buffet food was excellent and replenished as soon as things ran out, or were running low. The three server's were all very busy, but always pleasant and friendly. I'll definitely treat my family to a breakfast here again.”

“Went for lunch with my 4 year old son. The soft play was small but my son loved it. The food was served quick and was tasty. They have a Costa coffee station, they offer unlimited refills for this. The soft pay was £3.00 for 1hr 30mins. They have 7 sets of tables in the soft pay room, your able to eat and drink in this room when your kids a playing. Lovely place..”

“Harvey on front of house was a fantastic and welcoming member of staff. Nothing was to much trouble a credit to your establishment Aimee was chef today and I ordered the fairytale in New York. Very tasty and well presented in a timely manner. My friends had southern fried chicken burgers with no bun coleslaw etc just chips and both Harvey and Aimee made this happen with no fuss We will be revisiting in January”

“Stopped here Saturday 1st Nov. I booked the wrong night by mistake but the hotel accommodated me and changed my date with no extra cost. Extremely helpful. Spotless room. Very large bed with 6 pillows, really comfortable. Lovely room. All in all what a lovely place. Would recommend all day long and will stay again. Thank you to the staff.”

“I held my sons 18th birthday party at catch 22 and I can’t recommend them enough they went above to make sure it went perfectly. It was brilliant the atmosphere was everything we wanted it to be. The room was set up exactly to my request. Every one had a brilliant time. I would highly recommend this venue and will 100% be using it again.”
