“What a lovely find on booking.com for my overnight stay for work purposes. I didn't eat here because I'd eaten on route due to my work load but was greeted with a friendly receptionist & very welcoming. The room is big and a huge TV which is perfect because normally a box standard TV in other establishmentd I use. There was a note in my room that the ground floor is currently being refurbished. So, I'll definitely revisit to see . It was also lovely and quiet stay .”

“We had an amazing time with a Celebratory lunch for guests in the Charlecote Suite. From the first meeting with Debbie to discuss our requirements to checking out of the hotel the following morning Staff at the Greswolde were so attentive and accommodating. About a month before our event, we discussed the layout of the room, use of projector and menu choices of our guests with Adam. A few of us were able to gain entry in the morning to complete some personal touches to the room. Rochelle and Kieran worked hard all through the event to ensure drinks and food were served to fit in around some speeches. All the meals were good quality and well presented. My Roast Beef Rump was beautifully cooked and very tender and I also want to pick pout the generously sized portions of flavoursome cheeses and biscuits. There was no pressure to leave the function room once we had finished eating and it was nice to be able to linger with guests. Our hotel bedroom was clean and well appointed so we had a good night’s sleep before heading home. In summary, Excellent service, very good food, very good value. Thank you all.”

“147 is a very safe nightclub great friendly bar staff and doormen managers and owners are there always greeting people and making sure their staff are good so feels very welcoming, great music and beer garden with an extra bar... highly recommend”

“A credit to the village. I live in the village and used to use the Granville a lot years ago. But it changed hands a lot and went down hill badly. Last year Jennie and her team took the pub on and have made it into the village hub. The work and efforts they have put in to make it into the village pub we all needed and love is fantastic. We now visit weekly with the kids and the food is fantastic and atmosphere is amazing. They accommodate for all ages, friends and families. We can now even go down on a Saturday night when we don’t have the kids and there’s always music of all types and we can have a dance and a great time. It’s a gem in the village to have for everyone and brings the whole community together.”

“Had a breakfast take away, not the cheapest I've had but you get what you pay for and this was by far quality food, thoroughly enjoyed it. As I don't eat beans and partner don't eat tomatoes I left a note at checkout and they put a replacement I asked for which wasn't part of advertised so 10/10 for satisfaction, well done guys, definitely use them again”

The Open Lobby Restaurant offers a dining experience far superior to its competitors. Breakfast was well-cooked with a great selection to start the day. Crucially, the evening meals were excellent—a significant step up from other Holiday Inns—and were genuinely worth the money. “Well firstly, thanks to you all for your swift service. Thank you to Lucy as well for her service and for looking after us. The food was great from starter to dessert. The presentations were a 10/10 and the food was full of flavour. The only thing that wasn’t good was the lamb from the kebab dish for the main course, but that is neither here nor there, but you replaced it swiftly with a chicken skewer, so thank you and we all appreciate for all you did for us today. The music was amazing, I was singing along to it so we were all comfortable. Thanks again and I do recommend this restaurant to others. But the main thing is I would love to come again!”

“Found this restaurant whilst driving past with work, thought that looks ok, checked on the internet and booked for Sunday lunch. Had a lovely 3 course meal and had not 1 thing negative to say about it. When again the following but this time opted for the menu rather than Sunday lunch. Again a lovely meal and nothing negative to say. The staff are friendly and professional, and a shout out to Lilia, only been once before and she remembered us and also remembered that I asked for no peas, that to me shows her quality as I’m sure she had served 100’s of customers over the previous week.”

“I came in today for a casual Christmas Day drink, and after seeing these reviews I have to write something. The customers were appalling, spitting on staffs faces about how their meals hadn’t arrived. I get I didn’t have a meal however, the staff had given up their Christmas Day to cater for your Christmas Day, they are the most lovely staff I’ve never had a bad experience in The White Horse. I think people need to realise they are eating in a pub, you are not going to get 5 star experience. Even though it is just a local pub The White Horse go above and beyond for their customers and unfortunately the day things went wrong, that couldn’t be controlled, was Christmas Day. Things happen, isn’t the end of the world think before your speak to people badly when they have given up their special day to cater for your special day.”
