“Wow!!! Just had the most amazing 30th birthday cake made last week. So delicious-so many people have commented on how tasty, light and moist the cake was. Nothing was too much trouble and Hollie’s managed to turn it around with just 2 weeks notice!!! Great value too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hollies for cakes-even the tea room looks great-just need to pop in for a bite to eat now.”
“This cafe serves the best coffee in the station and the only place where you get wonderful service. The manager Michaela creates a lovely environment for her team and the customers. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”
“What excellent value for money. Far exceeded my expectations. Staff very friendly and helpful, the room small and basic. But everything you need, spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Looking forward to my next stay.”

“Wonderful, independent family run, business i tried. multiple items on the menu with my partner and we have never ever had a problem breakfast is always fresh, made piping hot. Although the bacon is the sweet streaky kind i have also tried the snitzel burger O.M.G and the handmaid cheese burger are absolutely delicious, fresh coffee. Pleasant, welcoming little cafe.”
“Such a wonderful cafe. Cake is incredible, the tea (fruit tea) was the most flavoursome I’ve ever had. The staff were wonderful, especially as my friend had her young child with her, they helped with the mess even though we offered to clean up. It’s dog friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. The toilet is very clean too. Can’t wait to visit again.”
“The Hong Kong-style curry chicken hidden inside here, can be served with rice or French fries. You must try it. I highly recommend it.”
“Excellent service, quality food and venue now, including home deliveries. Angela & Alf are the best”
“The food is so nice & tasty Member of staff are kind and friendly Highly recommend”
“This is a great friendly cafe, event venue and lovely space. I have visited many times and love it. Ignore the bad reviews, it’s comfy and great fun. The gig venue is a bit cramped (I don’t care) so not for everyone!”
“First time visiting tamarind after seeing a review in the paper about the restaurant winning an award. Took the missus last night and both of us agreed that this was the best lamb bhuna we've ever had. Food was amazing. Staff were amazing and the place was buzzing with a great atmosphere. It was well worth the 20 min drive from coventry. Tamarind will 100% be our go to from now on.”
“Absolutely loved this place! I had the ribeye steak and it was cooked to perfection, flavorful and tender. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for great food and a nice vibe.”

“Great little spot for an all day breakfast. Typical spot that Britain is in need of. Support the local businesses and less of the support for the big American owned chains.”
“Lovely food and lovely polite workers ❤♥”
“Great value breakfast and friendly place. Will be back.”
“We’ve found this cafe not so long ago and it became our favourite place to have breakfast. The food is very nice and it comes quickly and hot, the service is great, plenty of space to sit. We love it there, highly recommend to anyone.”
“The owner/chef is kind and talented. The food is excellent! The pistachio cake is homemade and filled with fresh pistachios!”
“Fabulous pub with fabulous staff and fabulous food. Met by a lovely, friendly member of bar staff. Had the homemade beef burger with fries and slaw. Delicious burger and definitely homemade. Didn’t wait long for it to be served, and it was piping hot. I can definitely recommend stopping off here if in the area.”
“Amazing place, really friendly staff. A member of our party hand wrote down everything that was gluten free- something you wouldn't get elsewhere. Food is wonderful and cooked really well. Brilliant selection. The only problem is the parking is a bit of a walk away, but blue badge holders can park in the street opposite. All in all a successful visit!”
“Went to Millsy's for dinner with a group of friends. It was a large booking and the reservation team was very helpful and flexible with changes to the booking. Our table was spacious and very comfortable for everyone. The menu has plenty of options. Tried the liver paté to start which was absolutely delicious. For main went for the pork belly and a side of mozzarella sticks. Everything was made fresh and delicious. The dessert was a bread and butter pudding which was perfect. The portions are quite large. Their cocktails are delicious too! Staff are very friendly and quick, food arrives promptly as well. That night there was live music so that made the whole ambiance very nice. Overall very good experience”
“The Asian lady who helped me was so kind and thoughtful. The hot chocolate and tea was good. The bakewell tart and Crunchie muffin I wouldn't buy again- disappointing. Nice vibe and good seating”
“We visited here as part of our Guide Dog puppies 'settle and shop' training. The staff were amazing and were very accommodating to us and our puppy in training. The food and drinks were delivered quickly”
“Friendly place with a good selection of beers at a good price!”
“First time here, best breakfast wrap in a long time. Reasonable prices, great quality food.”
“We stayed on the campsite in early January, in our campervan. This is one of the rare sites that are open all year and have a toilet block with shower. The site is easy to find, secure with key pad controlled high gates and surrounded by gardens and fields. Pitches are large, hard standing and level. Even after torrential rain, these were fine (although grass understandably boggy). Electric hook up and water taps between pitches. Toilet block is in the end of a barn building. All tiled, clean, windows a little shabby but ok. Unisex, 2 toilet cubicles and 2 large cubicles with wash basins and shaver points. One electric shower in cubicle with shower curtain too - the usual set up at campsites. The block is unheated but there is a blow heater on the wall that you can activate. Soap, air-hand dryer, toilet paper all provided. There is only a charge for the electrically heater hot water -50p shower, 20p basin hot water. We thought it would be too cold to shower in comfort in January but it was fine. Plenty of time to shower, nice and hot. Be aware though, no suitable washing up facility (outside sink cold only). The road nearby is busy so expect road noise (and sheep bleating, bird song too). Didn't seem to be a campervan discharge point, so expect to use the old bowl and bucket if you want to empty grey water. There is a chemical loo emptying place and the usual waste area. Reason for 5 stars...excellent value!(And a nice owner.)”
