“In the franchise Mrs Kyndley is just a woman who lives next to Thomas' branchline, She dosen't own a tea room, however I guess she has a refreshment stall in the Great Race (a film that came out a while after)”
“Spotlessly clean and lovely friendly staff. We loved the menu, but as they were closing soon, we opted for sandwiches and a pot of tea. I had jerk chicken and rocket sandwich. It was really nice and spicy, with a generous filling. My partner had a cheese and ham toastie, which he said was excellent. Quality ingredients at decent prices. We'll be back over the weekend.”
“I had the pleasure of dining at Rising Café yesterday, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff providing excellent customer service. My wife ordered the club chicken sandwich, while I had sourdough bread topped with avocado and a fried egg. Both dishes were absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the ambiance of the café. I’m already looking forward to returning and exploring more of their menu. Highly recommend!”
“Absolutely beautifully presented delicious food.. much nicer than your usual curry house. Lots of lovely taster dishes for a unique experience”
“So......... I came here December as I seen a post on face book and fancied something a little special. I was not disappointed, I have been back at least every other week since! The owner is so friendly and the Hygiene rating is 5* Food is fantastic and fresh and the Cobs are THE BEST! I highly recommend a visit. Love this little Deli”
“Fantastic value and a warm welcome!”
“The mince pies were spectacular, honestly wish we’d ordered more. The biscuit tins were beautiful, we used one as a present. A special thank you to the bakery accommodating a late request to be delivered Christmas Eve. We can’t wait to visit the shop again and eat in, which both the wife and I did in the summer and the menu was stunning. Happy New Year.”
“Had a very good experience, the wait was around 40 minutes and food took another 30/40 minutes which is quite a wait however the food made up for it and it was well worth the wait. Food quality was on point, tasted amazing and since I visited while there was offers on it was well worth the money. Banging food. The girls who take the orders were a great help with everything and I have no complaints.”

“This is Bedder's Fish and Chips, Mad O' Rouke's Pie and Mash, Duran Duran, Ozzy and Toni are just some of the great Midlands collaborations. Well, throw in cycles and coffee at Gorilla Coffee Cafe! This brummie institution is a beautiful, bright spacious cafe that is finely tuned for the the road cyclist. If it's the start of your cycling adventure or you've got a thirst on after a heavy day in the saddle, get over here. The staff are lovely, the coffee is great, they even serve local ales. Just find a pew amongst the abundance of seats and rest your weary lycra.”
“Friendly staff and very accommodating, let me eat in, when at the time it was take out only. Very clean inside with plenty of tables and an open kitchen, parking space outside Breakfast was great, everything included in the photo for a medium breakfast.”
“We hired the private dining room at The Boat for my Mum’s 60th birthday meal. We all had a Sunday roast with starter and dessert. From the initial email booking enquiry with Mitchell, right through to the end of the big day everything was exceptional. The service was super attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and creative, and we enjoyed pre and post meal drinks in their beautiful and sunny garden. I would not hesitate to go back there again for a special occasion or a date night treat. Big thanks to all the staff for making my Mum’s birthday extra special.”
“Asda Driver here, have been delivering to these guys for years and they always take care of their drivers by offering them a hot drink which is greatly appreciated especially during the colder weathers. Staff are really friendly too. I think it's about time I visit this place as a customer and not a delivery drop off guy and what better time than the festive season? Merry Christmas No. 18”
“Was very impressed with the coffee. Had a flat white that was really tasty! Great place to work from if you want to work after 3pm. Plenty of plug sockets. The server was also really friendly.”
“Great experience with food, atmosphere. Wide variety of choices. Will go back again”
“200 Degrees Coffee in Birmingham is a true standout, offering an exceptional coffee experience that goes far beyond your average chain cafe. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly roasted beans is incredible, a perfect hint of the quality to come. The space itself is cozy and inviting, with a rustic, stylish feel that makes it a perfect spot to relax or get some work done. The coffee is, without a doubt, the star of the show. Their baristas are incredibly skilled, serving up perfectly brewed espresso drinks and pour-overs with a clear passion for their craft. I've never had a bad coffee here; every cup is consistently excellent. They also have a fantastic selection of food, including delicious sandwiches and cakes that pair beautifully with their drinks. What really makes 200 Degrees special is the staff. They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help you find the perfect drink. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and that makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. It's my go-to spot in the city for a quality coffee and a great atmosphere.”

“Lovely quaint little Cafe in a great location. There's plenty of parking arpund the area..Good food, friendly service and fair prices. You need to try the shakes!”
“Found this hidden gem on a friend's recommendation, and despite its location, it totally exceeded my expectations! The breakfast here is fantastic - hearty and satisfying without being greasy like typical breakfast spots. The staff were really welcoming, though the atmosphere that day was a bit mixed due to some grumpy fellow diners - but hey, that's not the restaurant's fault! Great value and quality food - this place has definitely earned a spot on my regular breakfast rotation!”
“lovely café, nice atmosphere, rich sandwiched, quick and fresh. really nice café. the garden centre is very much for gardeners lots of beautiful plants, not so much variety in gift shop...”
“Myself and my friend went there yesterday as we was having a day out and it is a different cafe to what we are used to as we eat and drink at all types of cafes but I would come back there and the food and drinks where superb and the service was absolutely fantastic”

“Tried first time for midnight craving. Collected myself as I live close by . Ordered Ferraro, Bisconi,Orea and Flakes. Absolutely fresh, top quality. Enjoyed every bite. Highly recommended.”
“I could wax lyrical about this place for ages but I will keep it short. This cafe is an absolute must if you fancy a good old English breakfast in the centre of Brum. Super food, decent prices but most importantly warm, friendly and polite staff. I love this place.”
“Awesome place for working on your laptop. Hospitable staff and two levels to sprawl yourself over whilst enjoying a nice cup of joe and feasting on some pancakes if you’re lucky enough to be there on a Tuesday. Plenty of seating and power points available to charge your devices. There’s couches, large tables and individual tables to work from with free WiFi available. Hot latte costs 2.9 pounds and there’s a bathroom on site. They also have a bottomless brunch if you’re brave enough to participate on the weekends for 22.5 all day long! #BeatTheGrind”
