“I stayed in room number 5, it was a perfect size, has everything I needed and was very comfy. There was lots of pubs and shops nearby and loads of places to eat. The owner was lovelly and very helpful, not that I needed much help but she was easy to contact and my stay for 3 nights was very nice. Highly recommended”

“We stayed on the campsite in early January, in our campervan. This is one of the rare sites that are open all year and have a toilet block with shower. The site is easy to find, secure with key pad controlled high gates and surrounded by gardens and fields. Pitches are large, hard standing and level. Even after torrential rain, these were fine (although grass understandably boggy). Electric hook up and water taps between pitches. Toilet block is in the end of a barn building. All tiled, clean, windows a little shabby but ok. Unisex, 2 toilet cubicles and 2 large cubicles with wash basins and shaver points. One electric shower in cubicle with shower curtain too - the usual set up at campsites. The block is unheated but there is a blow heater on the wall that you can activate. Soap, air-hand dryer, toilet paper all provided. There is only a charge for the electrically heater hot water -50p shower, 20p basin hot water. We thought it would be too cold to shower in comfort in January but it was fine. Plenty of time to shower, nice and hot. Be aware though, no suitable washing up facility (outside sink cold only). The road nearby is busy so expect road noise (and sheep bleating, bird song too). Didn't seem to be a campervan discharge point, so expect to use the old bowl and bucket if you want to empty grey water. There is a chemical loo emptying place and the usual waste area. Reason for 5 stars...excellent value!(And a nice owner.)”

“On attending race retro for the weekend, we stayed at this fabulous hotel on site . Stonleigh lodge gives off family run hotel vibes with large rooms , wide choice on the menu along with dedicated staff that make your stay welcoming .”

“This lovely hotel is not located far from the centre of Stratford upon Avon but far enough for it to be quiet and peaceful. The double room was well laid out and clean. Staff for friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning had a food spread. We also had a lovely evening meal here as well. Although a bit on the pricey side the food was fantastic. I would definitely recommend.”

“Fantastic value for money. £37 a night during the Summer holidays is brilliant, especially when it includes free parking and free WiFi. Very close to Birmingham Airport, National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham International Railway Station too. Room was quite impressive with an excellent bathroom and shower area and it had recent carpets and had just been painted as well.”

“We had the best time on 'Smoke'. Henry and Tabitha were amazing hosts and had thought of everything in advance. They were also able to give us great local knowledge and ideas on stopping points and pubs. The narrowboat itself is beautiful and has been fabulously decorated so that it feels more like a spacious apartment than anything else. Our teenage sons loved it (I think probably in spite of themselves!) and we will definitely be back for more”

“The best decision I have made was to sign up for swimming with Victoria. These one to one lessons were brilliant, amazing experience. I was really nervous at the start but within couple of hours I was swimming by myself. All fear just disappeared thanks to Victoria. I’m 36 and I never thought I will be swimming ever but never say never. Don’t hesitate just do it! 5*”

“5 Stars – A Seamless Stay at George St Townhouse I had a wonderful experience staying at the George St Townhouse by Leamington Apartments. From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described—clean, modern, and thoughtfully prepared for a short or extended stay. The location on George Street is absolutely ideal—quiet yet centrally situated, with easy access to restaurants, local shops, and public transport. It’s perfect for both business travelers and holidaymakers. The townhouse itself is well-equipped with all the essentials: a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, ample workspace, a fully fitted kitchen, and a spotless bathroom. Every detail was taken care of, making it feel like a true home away from home. Communication with the hosts, including Jason Wan, was prompt and professional. Check-in was smooth, and any questions I had were answered quickly and helpfully. The property offers a great balance of privacy, comfort, and convenience, much like a high-end Airbnb experience but with added professionalism and consistency. “Great place to stay for long layovers and early morning flights! Extremely affordable for the level of quality and comfort. Very comfortable rooms with en suite showers and towels, would highly recommend for travellers needing a short and comfy break! Only thing is that you will have to take a short bus/taxi ride to the airport but buses run very frequently and the stop is basically right outside the accommodation!”

“We stayed one night . walked into reception greeted by a welcoming and polite gentleman . He went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed by our stay . staff from start to finish were all there to assist you with anything we needed . Upon arriving in our room it was very Clean and neat . The toilet , showroom were exceptionally clean with great toiletries included. The bed was very clean and comfy and had a great night sleep.The breakfast was nice but needed some attention with more staff and more organisation but highly satisfied with the quality of food and amount of options . “Stunning. The staff is absolutely incredible, friendly and gives you a very warm welcome. A very nice comfy clean room which has everything that you need. The bathroom is actually, and hard to believe in the UK, very clean and mold free which is really appreciated. The location is just a few minutes from the station, city center and the Castle. Can't be happier. Very quiet rooms and location”

“Couldn't fault it for the price we paid. Newly refurbished room. Old building with a list of famous restaurants ie. Norman Wisdom and Douglas Fairbanks. Grand Central staircase with large stain glass window.”

“Stayed here overnight on a long journey. Everything fine. Very happy with the accomodation, hence a very satisfied 5 stars. However... Tripped over a couple of gotchas, though not the fault of the owner (lovely chap). 1, The room must be paid for in cash on arrival – my fault, I missed the message from Booking.com. 2, No breakfast! This is Google's fault: the description in G-Maps clearly (& incorrectly) categorises this guest house as a B&B (it isn't), *AND* it says that breakfast is available. It isn't. The owner hasn't served breakfast in over 2 years. The details in Booking.com are correct and I should've spotted this discrepancy. C'mon Google, get this entry updated. Why is it taking you over 2 years?”
